14 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhere in the UK would i be able to buy Ilchester cheese?
I have been scouring the major supermarkets and smaller retailers for Ichester Cheese, I have even been to Ilchester village store and to the surrounding area.
All in vain.
I not sure now that Ilchester cheese is even sold in the UK.
The only place I have actually bought a block of this cheese is in a Miejers Store, Michigan, USA.
Then I brought it back to the UK to give to a relative who lives within half a mile of the Ilchester cheese factory.

10 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoClimate Change and London.??
The plan, which builds on Johnson's predecessor Ken Livingstone's aim to cut London's carbon emissions by 60 percent by 2025, is to help the city prevent climate change, prepare for its consequences and recover from its effects
If 'they' are going to spend billions of taxpayers money on preventing the climate change.
Why would 'they' need to 'prepare for its consequences' and 'recover from its effects'.??
Sounds to me like the billions will be wasted as it going to happen anyway.

6 AnswersMedia & Journalism1 decade agoReferendum 2005?
After the French and Dutch voted 'NO' to the EU constitution in 2005, Tony Blair would not give the Brits a chance to vote 'NO' on the grounds that the constitution was dead and buried and there was no need for a referendum in the UK.
Now 2008, The wonderful Irish people have spoken and voted 'NO' to the Treaty of Lisbon.
Gordon Brown insists that ratification will still go ahead.
Why would he need to do this?
Is the treaty not already dead and buried..??
Why in 2005 there was no need for the UK to have the promised referendum. , while there is still a need for ratification in 2008..??
