I've tried to wipe both my hdds using DBAN the one I wanted to wipe got to 100% but the other got to 50% and I switched it off... so I tried reinstalling an os Windows 8 for example, that says that there is a media driver missing, Windows XP setup won't even get to inspecting hardware and windows 7 hangs on expanding windows files. This is really bad as I have no other way of saving my pc. :(

I was thinking, would Google make a proper OS? Not Chrome OS because that is just an internet based OS, something that would challenge the likes of Microsoft and Apple, I'd love to see what they could do with one!

My left ear has been playing up for the last few days, it's come on all of a sudden. The pressure inside my ear feels strange and when i try to pop it, it doesn't work. I have minor hearing loss out of it as well, I've thought that it might be a build up of wax but I've tried ear drops that didn't work and now I can feel fluid inside my ears and it's rather painful, the pain comes every now and again. Any advice or should I just go straight to the doctors?

My normal internet connection is around 250 kB/s but when i'm downloading games via Steam, it peaks at 1.2 MB/s how is this and can I speed up my normal rate like this?

I recently got a new Windows 7 Zoostorm PC and I transferred my second HDD from my old pc with Windows 8 on it. I all went well but it corrupt my primary drive, which is now fixed. In the BIOS, (American Megatrends 2012) it isn't detected in the BIOS or Boot Sequence. The 2nd HDD is working and detected when I enter Windows 7 and it appears in my computer. I want to know how I can fix this and be able to boot from Windows 8 on my old HDD on my new PC. Thanks in advance.

I have an HP Compaq 6720s Laptop and I've recently re-installed windows xp on it, with a hard drive wipe. When it finished booting, it had no network drivers, sound card drivers, my USB ports aren't working, wireless network card wasn't detected and I cannot connect it to the internet. I do not have the disks for the drivers. What can I do!?

My Windows XP PC is stuck in a boot loop after attempting to partition my hdd. I can't get into anything and I've checked all my BIOS settings and there is no press any key to boot from CD. I can't figure it out? Why is my xp disc not booting?

right, i have an unregistered version of Windows Vista on my laptop and i want to change my OS back to XP, trouble is, on boot up options it only lists Windows Vista.

Any Tips?
