Im a student at UNLV and moved just right off campus. I work 25 hours a weak and 12 hours of class. So rightfully im bussy working nights and can only do homework late at night.

The reason i moved in here is they advertised free wifi. Ever since being here the wifi is only on about 50% of the time, and many times its not even working ALL night. My grades have been hurt because i can not complete assignments and it is too late to go to the schools computer labs.

Is there any retribution to this? They are clearly still advertising free wifi when it doesnt even work. It is a pain when you cant even google something much less download a pdf for a class.

Note that it is in the lease agreement and they are advertising it.

Im working on a project and have to clip together tons of films refrencing "mainframe" in any way. I did a imsdb.com search but only came up with three... PLEASE can any one think of some movies that reference mainframe?

so far i have, Undergrads - Matrix - and swordfish

I have to do a movie clip compilation of movies mentioning mainframes. Its a really important project. I just cant seem to find more than 4 movies mentioning it yet i need much much more than that. I know tons of movies mention mainframes i just dont know how to find them :(

It's the most recent ones. Its advertising the new laptop deal, two people sitting next to eachother on a bench, one laptop is green the other is black with white stripes.

Long story short i had to revert to an older mobo and reformat my drive.

Problem is that windows couldnt find the audio driver so i had to go to the website to download it. The manufacture didnt have a driver that supports vista (i tried XP driver but still no avail). i then got some software that is supposed to check all your hardware and tell you what the name of it is (forgot the name of the software, but its fairly popular) and it couldnt even figure out the name of my onboard audio.

So i go ahead and download the latest AC'97 driver software and i thought i got it working. Windows now recognized it and when i played something the audio bar would move.

UGGGG... unfortunately it does put out any sound. Ive checked all the wires and connections and they are fine. I cant get any damn output!!!!!!!

Biggest game of the year and tickets are long sold out. Problem is that the dorms dont get the one channel that brodcasts the game, so im trying to figure out how i could still watch the reno @ unlv game.

I just bought a new mother board and set it all up.

When i booted up the machine vista started automatically installing all the drivers.

-just to be safe i poped in the CD and installed all the drivers off of it.

Still no sound..

So i go to the website and download the latest driver and install it.

still no sound...

So i go into device manager, there isn't a question mark or anything any were, more importantly THERE IS NO SOUND OPTION. Normally, you would at least see the sound there, but something is wrong with the driver. Nope, no sound at all.

Its a Gigabyte S-series GA-MA69VM-S2 motherboard.... some one please help me!

Okay this debate has been raging for the past days and i need some more input. Assuming the situation is nuetral and all variables involving the lead up to the situation in question have been removed (Example is preference of top or bottom, assume they have equal preference of both) of remove who is more gay, the guy giving or the guy receiving anal sex? Both parties are completey consensual and they are just bi-curious.

Also note a few things to consider:

-To be giving it you need an erection and would presumably enjoy it to continue giving it while the one receiving it could not be enjoying the experience but would still be able to perform his task.

- The one giving it could be imaging the other party as being a woman and men could **** anything.

Also you have to choose one of the two; one has to be more gay than the other.

I lost my book and cant seem to find out the reasons why. Im sure i could google that, i just need to know the four. I know two of them are Catholics and Atheists. What are the rest? If you could post why double browny points :D

What are his beliefes on this according to The Apology? He is being accused of not believing in the gods and being an athiest yet he does recognize divinity and daimonia (demi-gods). I was under the impression that the daimonia were just forms of wisdom not true beings. I think i could be wrong. Can some one please clerify this for me?

yeah... so i dont get this every time. My PC will work fine, its as soon as i turn off the power supply (sometimes no even that, but mostly when i turn it off) and restart it, i get this pop-up.

If i mash a bunch of the f# keys during its black start up, i sometimes get a boot option where it says select boot device. The options are floppy, cd, or the ethernet controller. Why is it doing this? It did the same thing with the other mobo and powersupply.

I dont have my keg ne longer and am in the situation to having to rent one. How does that work? i know it used to be 55 bux to fill it, so what will be the aditional cost to use the liquor stores keg?

Im an athiest as far as it goes whether or not god exists, but for a while i did believe reality is a sort of simulation. I began to believe this from a string of epiphany's i had. Years later, i was bored and decided to do a google search. Lo-and-behold others out there believe the same thing. Now im not going to bother you on how i came to believe this and the evidence i have to support this.

Im just currious if any one has simular beliefes that reality is a simulation.

For those dont understand, imagine an extremely hightech computer that could digitialy create every aspect of what we call reality. I believe that what we live in, is an extrememly high tech simulation. (to compare to computers, imagine I/O's in a computer as protons and electrons in our reality...)

jesus ive been spending forever on this issue with the router. I set up my main pc to act as a server for all my media DLs and accesible through the wireless network (password protected).

So i find the firewall as an actual inconvenience because even after fowarding my ports for uTorrent i still get slow speeds and a the notification that something is blocking my incoming connections.

GODDDDDD i just wanna have a simple network why does this have to be such a pain?

I say i cant believe the whole thing it makes no sense.

Problem is, how can i put my faith into it? i dont believe it, to put my faith into i need to believe it.

Hi, i have crohnes and none of the methods of treatment have helped. They want to just give me pain killers and tell me to walk it off since i rarely actually get a painful episode.

But recently its been about 2x a week i will go into excrutiating pain seemingly untriggered. I really want this to stop so i can continue working undisturbed. Its embarrasing having to go home saying your stomach hurts. (Which it does, but they dont seem to understand the magnitude of pain im about to experience)

My doctor is trying to do some tests blah blah

would you have any recomendations for now on how to help the pain?

I here that crohnes is a new type of disease with the possible connection to the chemicals and hormones in food now adays causing genetic faults during development. Should i stop eating meat?

Did any one else sense a huge amount of socail pressure and engineering when attending these when younger? I hate to refere back to Jesus camp again, but thats exactly how all my youth groups were like when growing up.

It scares the crap out of me.

Could this be the future? It soo reminds me of how Hitler brainwashed his country. They all use the same exact socail tactics. Its unbelievable.

Truley its scary because these people are centralized, unlike non-religious people, and pose a huge threat to the nation. Its hard to get athiests to centralize to stop things like this happening because our beliefes dont require a higher-up telling us what to do. These people truly are going to **** things up politically. This is a radical movement i can see easily drifting into a more P.C. version of Hitlers movements. (if you understand what i mean, then you understand how deep and true that is)
