  • Looking for English version heating system manual?

We have moved into a house in Denmark which has a Bosch ZSR 11-3 AE 23 heating system. Unfortunately the manual is of course in Danish. I don't really trust online translation software so I was wondering if there are any heating engineers out there who can advise me on getting some English instructions please. I have looked on line but all I am finding is Danish. Thanks!

  • Cost of living in Barbados?

Just wondering what the average price of shopping basic basics (milk, bread etc) is like at the moment in Barbados. In Cyprus there is a weekly ex-pat newspaper that publishes a shopping list with prices for people to see. It would be great if I could find out if something similar exists in Barbados.

Has anyone on here actually got a satisfactory response (or indeed any response) from FOS. If not, what did you do about it?

  • Meteor shower?

Hello, was anyone else watching the meteor shower over North Cyrpus on Sunday night? We were out on a friends roof terrace at Catalkoy where there is virtually no light pollution, and it was really amazing to see.

  • Mobile phone insurance...?

Is the selling of mobile phone insurance in the UK a FSA regulated activity if it has been sold by a specialist mobile phone retailer?

Similar question really for things like motor breakdown assistance or emergency domestic assistance covers? As they are not specifially insurance contracts, they are assistance contracts, would these be FSA regulated products?

  • What is your favourite film with sequels?

Of all the films that have been followed up with sequels, which ones do you think are the best? Any type, any time...I'm just interested to see what different answers we get.

I guess for me it would be the Star Trek movies, the Saw trilogy, and the whole James Bond thing.

  • LOL or Groan?

The family wheeled Grandma out on the lawn, in her wheelchair, where the activities for her 100th birthday were taking place. Grandma couldn't speak very well but she could write notes when she needed to communicate.

After a short time out on the lawn, Grandma started leaning off

to the right, so some family members grabbed her, straightened her up, and stuffed pillows on her right.

A short time later, she started leaning off to her left, so again

family grabbed her and stuffed pillows on her left.

Soon she started leaning forward, so the family members again grabbed her, then tied a pillowcase around her waist to hold her up.

A grandson who arrived late came up to Grandma and said, "Hi, Grandma, you're looking good! How are they treating you?"

Grandma took out her little notepad and slowly wrote a note to

    the grandson...

    "They won't let me fart."

    It amused little ol' me!!!

  • Roland Scholten - what's his walk-on music?

Does anyone know what the music is when Roland walks onto the stage in Premier League of Darts? I noticed they played it a lot on the weekend at the Millennium Magic rugby league fixtures too.

  • Is there a register of personal injury claimants?

I am trying to find out if there is some sort of public record of personal injury claims that have successfully been brought to court in the UK. This is out of professional interest, and I am currently doing some research into this matter.

  • Dying Woman Offering Lots of Money...?

I received an email today from a yahoo address offering me $12 million because this lady is dying of leukaemia and doesn't want the money being left in the bank in Sierra Leone. I've done the usual hoax searches but so far her name doesn't come up anywhere. Anyone else heard from her today?

  • Anyone know the music from Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere, episode 6?

I really like the music in episode 6 when they are driving around Newcastle (Paddy eyeing up the girls, Max going on about Billy Shannon). Does anyone know what it is called and who recorded it?

  • Gareth "Alfie" Thomas...?

Most of us basically love Alfie (be honest, we do!), but how many of us think that maybe the WRU should consider not using him for TV interviews?

After his appearance on Scrum V last year, and his comments about the man of the match award on Saturday, I just think perhaps we need to use someone who puts a bit more thought into what he says before he says it! I also wonder if the man of the match award would have been "crap" if he had won it instead of Hooky?

(and yes I know he's first in line to speak because he's captain but someone's ability to lead and motivate on the field doesn't always mean they can handle the media off the field)

  • Trying to track down a very old children's poem...?

My great aunt is 95 this year and she remembers part of a lovely poem from when she was a small child. As she is a poetry lover, I would really like to find the full version to give her. Can anyone help me? Obviously its very old but I have searched high and low to no avail. It starts with the lines...

"On Saturdat next at half past eight,

    I musn't be half a second late,

I'm going down to the garden gate where the dew is glittery pearly..."

    Thanks for any help!

  • High and Low tides?

I live in North Cyprus and the ebb and flow of the tide here seems really small (almost non-existent in fact). Does anyone out there live somewhere similar or somewhere totally opposite where tidal change is really noticeable.
