My clothes dryer isn't heating. Assuming it's the heating element, is it cheaper to buy a new dryer?
I put clothes in on knit cycle before bed last night and when I got up this morning I heard the dryer still going. I don't know whether the thermostat didn't tell the dryer when the clothes were dry and so it kept going until it burned the heating element out (I don't know if I'm using the right lingo, here) or if it just died a natural death and the dryer kept going because the thermostat never got to the right temperature to turn off.

I was trying to make a bank transfer and I got a message that they couldn't do it because they were unable to set cookies or otherwise find a session for me. I checked to make sure my firewall was down and it is. What else can or should I do except wait until morning and call.
2 AnswersSecurity10 years agoShould I wait until I can afford to fix the probllem areas of my house before I refinance, or do it now?
I have some missing shingles, a lot of wood rot around my windows and a little water damage from a leak (fixed) in the roof. I have the money to fix some of these things, but not all without borrowing money (a second mortgage or a credit card). I want my value to be as high as possible, of course, but I'm worried the rates will start rising. How much difference will these things make?
