  • What is the first Christian religion- Catholic or Orthodox?

I am seriously asking for my own personal walk with Jesus. I feel like I need to know the name of the gathering of those who walked with Him.

  • Did you know that you had to be baptized to be saved?

Yes, you do have to be baptized to be saved.

In 1 Peter 3:21,22 it says this:

This(The Great Flood) prefigured baptism, which SAVES YOU NOW. It is not a removal of dirt from the body but AN APPEAL TO GOD FOR A CLEAR CONSCIENCE, THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him...

    MARK 16:16 SAYS THAT

"WHOEVER BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED WILL BE SAVED; WHOEVER DOES NOT BELIEVE WILL BE CONDEMNED.

  • Can you be saved and NOT be baptized?

I know a few people who think they are saved just because the believe that Jesus is Christ and God is His Father. Yet, they do absolutely nothing else. They don't go to church, don't want to talk about Him unless someone happens to bring Him up, they are easily angry/bitter. They think that because they have stopped doing the really bad things and try to do good, that is all they have to do to be saved. Even Satan believes in Christ, but he is not saved.

I got yelled at for "casting judgment" for saying they were not saved. Am I right? Do we not have to repent AND be baptized to be saved and live all eternity with Jesus? Please specify your religion and scripture that support your answer. I am really in need of help on this one!

  • If the most important decision we have to make is Heaven or Hell...?

If the most important decision we have to make is between Heaven and Hell, wouldn't we tell all of our loved ones to repent and be saved?

I personally don't want my family to burn in hell, just so they can have a "fun" time here. This place is so temporary, and so are we.

  • When did Jesus ever say anything He didn't mean?

Never! so why do people argue and say that He did not give us this "Lords Prayer" to pray verbatim? If He did not want us to say it verbatim, He would have said it was a parable.

    What are your thoughts?

  • Are you thankful?

I am thankful for my dirty and beat up car, for thieves are less likely to steal it. I am thankful for the dog slobber on my windows, for it keeps peeping toms from seeking in. I am thankful that I am a bad cook, then I don't have to have a house full of greedy and lazy people bumming off of me.

I am thankful...What are you thankful for?

  • Is this a miracle?

I had a white growth on my face for about a year or so. It was rather large, unsightly and very noticeable. I tried to pull it off and cut it off, but it wouldn't budge. I started getting very embarrassed, because I just didn't know what it was and it was so distracting.

Finally, I looked in the mirror one day and told God that I knew He didn't like vanity, and I surely had no reason to be vain or conceited, but I really didn't like the growth and I was embarrassed. I asked Him to please take it away. Within 3 days the growth fell off and has not come back since(years now).

Considering how long I had the growth, my attempts to get rid of it and my actions in front of the mirror, I took it to be direct answer to my question, and thank Him for it.

What do you think, is this a clear example of a miracle?

  • Veneration of Mary?

In Revelations, the Word speaks of Mary as a queen, with a crown of stars and the Moon as her footstool. Her Infant Son, is trying to be murdered by satan, but He and she are protected by Everything.

If God venerates Mary, shouldn't we?

  • God is not the author of confusion, so why do so many think it is ok...?

The Living God, Father of Jesus, is not a confusing God and He is orderly.

When He came to rescue the Hebrews from Egypt, He did establish a way of life (man calls it religion) for the Hebrews, ONLY ONE WAY OF LIFE.

When Jesus came to fulfill the scriptures, the veil in the temple was torn, which means we NOW become the sacrifice that we present to the alter, but we still have the one lifestyle.

In the United States, we have several religions that all teach opposite of the Catholic faith, which is the religion Jesus started. (If you still don't believe it, STUDY the bible for a few years, ask for wisdom and He will show you).

God never started 50 religions, He said many will call Me Lord but I will tell them that I never sent them. All American religion started after 1800's, and Jesus promised that many will turn from the truth and start their own doctrines and theologies.

ARE YOU SURE ABOUT YOUR FAITH? HE WARNS US SO OFTEN, THAT I TAKE IT VERY SERIOUSLY, DO YOU?
