Follow along in the book of Romans: 1:20-2: His invisible attributes,(namely, eternal power and divine nature) have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 3:23: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. 5:8: But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 6:23: The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. 10:9-10: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 10:13: "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." 11:36: To Him be glory forever. Amen

  • Why are so many Muslims converting from Islam to Christianity in Africa?

I heard this on an interview on Al Jazzerah with Sheik Ahmad al Katani, the president of the Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya which is an institution that specializes in teaching imams and Islamic preachers.

He said that there are now more Christians than Muslims in Africa, and that every year, 16,000 Muslims convert to Christianity. He said that there may come a time when we do not find Islam in Africa anymore.

Why do you think this is so?

  • Is there a seating chart for the US House of Representatives? Can I find out where each representative sits?

Watching a video today, I saw representative Bart Stupak speaking just moments after the passing of the health care reform bill. Behind him was another representative, a female dressed in green that was fast asleep. I'm curious who this was.

My question: Is there a seating chart for the US House of Representatives? Can I find out where each representative sits?

    Thanks

  • Preventing or decreasing delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS)?

Is it true that I can minimize delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) by lightly working out the day after a heavy workout?

And, bonus question for extra credit: Does aspirin taken prior to a workout have any effect whatsoever on DOMS?

    Thank you!

  • What is the total size of Ohio's budget? And why is it so hard to find the answer to this?

I've been searching for Ohio's total budget for the upcoming fiscal year. You'd think it would be published somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.

  • Does an IRS audit ever begin with a phone call? Or is this a scam?

A friend of mine recently received a phone call from someone claiming to be an IRS agent and told her that they wanted to audit her business. My friend did not give her any personal information, but they did set up an appointment to meet at the place of business next month.

As I understand it, all IRS audits begin with a letter, correct?

I feel quite sure that this is a scammer, but I wanted to be sure.

  • Why is it always "cease AND desist?" Why not just one or the other?

For example, a "cease and desist" letter written by an attorney. Why do the two always go together as if they are one word? Is it not redundant? Or is it used because it holds some historical significance?

  • My landlord had construction done and now I have two flat tires. Can they be obligated to reimburse me?

A different landlord did reimburse me ten years ago when I was in a similar situation, but I'm not sure if they were obligated to do so or if they were just being nice. Considering that it was a large management company with complexes containing hundreds of units, I doubt that they were simply being nice.

Is there any requirement for them to reimburse for damages caused by their actions (or rather, the inaction of their agent who didn't pick up all the nails)?

  • Volunteering to plant flowers in the midwest... limited water... suggestions?

Hello! The church I attend is sending out about 2,000 people to volunteer around the Columbus, Ohio area to just serve the city. My team is going to be planting flowers at a local city school... unfortunately, I know almost nothing about this and have a couple questions:

    1. Some of the areas we're planting don't have a convenient water source, so there's a good chance they won't get watered regularly. What flowers will do well without much water?

    2. One area is in direct sunlight most of the day. Another area gets very little sunlight. What flowers would work here?

    3. Because we are sending out so many groups to so many schools, each team has a flower budget of about only $150-$200. Is there a way to keep the cost down?

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for being willing to answer. There's so much to do and we're just clueless!

  • How do I refund someone's money on Ebay?

This may sound like a completely stupid question, but I want to provide a refund for an item that someone purchased from me through eBay. I can't find any way to reverse the paypal charge. How do I do this?

I don't want to just send them money with paypal because I'll end up paying the paypal fees for the original purchase as well as the refund. Can an actual refund (reversal of payment) be made? Thanks.
