3 AnswersPhysics1 decade agoHow do they determine the finish order in nascar following a big wreck?
If there is a big crash, and a bunch of cars are unable to continue. How are those cars scored for placement at the end of the race? (How do they determine which of the cars finish in 35th, 36th, 37th etc, for example) It doesn't seem like much, but it might be important when when it comes down to who makes the chase and who doesn't)

At the end of the big race, a voice asks "What's he doin'" as Lightning McQueen stop his car just before the finish line. I've never been able to figure out which character was supposed to have said that line. Was it a mistake?

2 AnswersCleaning & Laundry1 decade agoWhat does the % concentration of salicylic acid indicate?
Ok.. plantars wart... So I stop at the drug store. The cost of the salicylic acid treatment is pretty steep. So, I go to the lab and get a few grams of the stuff. I want to make a 15% solution. What I can't remember is whether these things are listed by mass or volume or what. I'm assuming mass. In which case, I want to add about 7.5 g to 50 g of water... Am I right on this? I don't want to burn my foot off.
1 AnswerChemistry1 decade agoHow can I pop hot air popcorn without making a mess?
My problem is that when I make popcorn in my hot air popper I end up with a lot of unpopped kernels being thrown out of the popper by other kernels as they pop. Some of the unpopped ones then pop in the bowl, shooting popcorn everywhere. What can I do to reduce number of unpopped kernels that end up in my bowl?
