Many do not believe so though they do believe they can insert thoughts into your head. Perhaps those are the only thoughts of yours they can read?

we are talking about love. we agree that we love each other in a very deep way, as older sister and younger brother. he has recently been hurt -- a woman whom he allowed destroy his first marriage, then moved in with him has now left him. I have been a shoulder to cry on. I am happy to help!

But we are talking -- and he is giving me a proverb kind of saying, translates roughly as "people who love you is about as big as a piece of leather; people who hate you, as big as a floor mat" Now the leather is small -- thus few people; and of higher value. The mat is large, made of straw or grass and is something cheap and disposable, wears out quickly as opposed to the leather which endures through ages, esp if you care for it; the grass mat, no matter how well you take care it deteriotes and you throw it away.

So anyhow, he's talking like this, and I ask, "how big is your piece of leather (your love for me)?

and he pats his heart and says, "she calls me a lot still" .

So I am irritated -- and joke around a bit but then we part ways and go on our separate days. After that it hit me hard and I cried.

I have had a hard time since then. He met up with me later that day -- and he told me, "do NOT compare ! They are two different loves! Love between brother/sister is much stronger!"

but i think i'm still angry.
