$8.50 times 40 hours ( if you're "lucky" to get 40 hours ) = $340 - taxes - phone bill - food - transportation cost - housing - health care - clothing - other costs of living = $ ?
Its not that America is uneducated - we are not ( some people are, yes I agree ).
What should minimum wage be so that we are no longer slaves?
I live in Illinois. $8.50 is the minimum wage here. I have a professional career and make somewhat more. I am curious about the minimum wage.

I like single player games with mild action, role play ( like final fantasy, oblivion ), tycoon games ( loved rollercoaster 3 and zoo tycoon ) and games like Myst.
Please: NO SPORTS. I know there are excellent sports games out there - but I'm not interested.
By the way, I am an adult in my 30s, so also not looking for child games either.

Since we won't actually be born or made here in America and America has outsourced pretty much 99.999% of its jobs overseas then won't the melting bot be reduced to a population consisting of only Chinese, Japanese, and Mexicans? Sure we may look of other nationalities but having been cloned in those specific few countries technically we are of that nationality. Correct? Thoughts?

Why are we so concerned about "those interests" and who really benefits from protecting those "interests? Don't give me the usual balognie that our government is their to protect Americans. There are specific reason we are NOT wanted in foreign lands. Not because people in foreign lands hate us Americans specifically but because of things our government does to protect my so called interests. My interests in foreign lands is to vacation and see other countries hopefully a couple times in my lifetime. America does NOT need to lose men and women in the military to protect that right! There are plenty of unsafe neighborhoods in America I'd like to visit but our government isn't going in and doing something about my interests there. What are American interests that we so desperately need to protect outside of our own American Country? Why can't our interests be kept within our own borders?
