Back in the 70s my dad opened an account for my wife and me with brokerage firm EF Hutton. I lost track of the account, and EF Hutton has gone out of business or been absorbed by another company. I am trying to track down these accounts to see how much money we have. I found the broker, who is now working for Bear Stearns, but he is not interested in tracking the account down. Any suggestions?

I'm in California, and I would prefer not to have to pay for the records. They don't need to be certified copies; I just want the information on the records.

If same-sex marriage becomes legal, gays will be able to marry a person of the same sex. But what about bisexuals? To be fair, shouldn't they be allowed to marry a person of the same sex AND a person of the opposite sex?
