So my girlfriend has been making my a jacket for many months now and in one of the sessions of me making a joke of the fact that she said it would only take a week she challenged me to make a bag for her... Now I have never made anything out of fabric in my life, but I am creative and good with my hands and expect I could turn my hand to it without too much trouble.

Still I need a place to start, I have done some searching and maybe because of my lack of knowledge of fabric terminology I can not find a fabric I would consider suitable for making a bag, something thick and tough. So that is my starting point, can someone tell me what is a good type of fabric to use or direct me to an online store which sell something like that?

Also while I am at it, any good patterns would be much appreciated, it will need to be at least able to hold something a4 size (210cm x 297cm). I don't really want something really 'girly' but something in a kind of rip curl, billabong or anything kind surf girl~ish.

And something fairly simple, because I'm a newbie ^__^

Does anyone know of any free website sites like webs, but that you can write all of your own CSS and HTML? Webs lets you add css and put in some html but as far as i can tell you cant do it all from scratch.

How do i get two divs to place side by side? I want the left one to be 150px width but the right div to be 100%, they are both in a container div.

I don't know why I get them as my diet is good, I'm not overly stressed and they seem to be so random when i get them. I've done some research on them but cant find anything that could be causing them, anyone got any ideas of thing it might be or things i can try to stop getting them? Thanks allot.

So last night i shut my computer down and it started to install some updates, and then the power when off, just for a second, the computer turned off and i left it off and didn't think any more of it. Went to turn it on this morning and now it freezes on the Windows logo with the loading bar underneath it. And doesn't do anything no matter how long i leave it.

Ive tried everything i can think of or find to do and i just don't know what to try now.

Ive backed up my all my files as i can get on using safe mode. So i would just like to be able to reinstall windows.

Ive tried booting from the windows disc but when it gets to starting setup or something like that, it blue-screens and i have to restart it.

Ive tried running a disc check but when i restart it comes up with the option to run setup mode, which always blue-screens, or start normally which just freezes on the windows logo and loading bar without doing a check.

This is on a iMac running bootcamp, if i could just get to my Mac OS X partition i would be happy, ive tried the normal why or changing OS in safe mode but it says i dont have privileges even on Admin.

Anything would be a great help!

Hi, So i just bought a new iMac downloaded bootcamp and install Windows XP on it. Almost everything works fine, apart from the internet. I will always find the connection and say the signal is strong, generally 3-4/5, but the internet is really slow and sometimes will just time out because it takes so long to load. All of this is on Windows XP, Mac OS X works perfectly and the internet works very fast, I'm using a new Netgear wireless router. The reason I've install Windows is because i play Final Fantasy XI (FFXI online mmorpg) which you cant get for Mac, and yes i know everyone says Macs are bad for gaming but its a low requirement game and works fine apart from the internet. In FFXI it tells you sent and recieved data as well as a percent. When the internet slows down or grinds almost to a halt the sent stays normal but the recieved drops to 0 and if it stays at 0 then it will timeout and disconnect me from the game server. Sometimes this will not happen for hours on end, but sometimes it will happen every 20-30mins.

I dont know if this is to do with XPs compatability with the inbuilt wireless of my iMac. I've tried turning off both the Mac and router off for long periods of time and it make no difference what so ever..

Once again, the internet works flawlessly on Mac OS X. But laggy and even almost stopped on windows XP (bootcamp).

Im trying to run ffxi on Mac OS X on my new iMac, ive installed virtualbox and windows XP on that. But it wont launch ffxi because it "failed to initialize Direct3D". PlayOnline works fine, although pretty grainy appearance, updated fine, but when i go to launch it comes up with this message "Terminated as error occurred on FINAL FANTASY XI. Failed to initialize Direct3D. Please check that this computer has the required specifications to fin FINAL FANTASY XI.(-1)".

Is there anyway i can get this to work? Or another program i can use?

Im starting a small business from home and want to be able to have more than one conversation going on at the same time on the same number. I would only need to be able to hold two or three conversations max at the same time, but i don't have a clue how this works at all. Do i need to get a new type of telephone line put in or some kind of hardware to do it or will it be part of the hand sets that you can buy? Thanks. Hi, im having problems updating FFXI (game) on my PC, POL(pregame program) starts up okay then it will download version info, and most times get all the checking files done and then restart or blue screen when it starts to download the updates! This has happened when playing the game, but not nearly as often.

Im going to uninstall FFXI, but i really dont want to lose all of my macros! Where can i find the files to copy so i can put them back in when i reinstall it?

It just says "PlayOnline Viewer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." freezes and when i ok it closes.

Ive been using the unofficial windower and it KEEPS crashing, can anyone tell me how to put it into the official windowed mode?

I need to convert a WPS file to a DOC file format, i have MS word. A online converter or a free piece of software would be great!
