This question refers to American advertising on television.

Why is the father figure portrayed as inferior to his wife and children? Why, in a multi-cultural setting is the white guy always the idiot? Why aren't the racism advocates standing up and threatening the companies responsible for this type of advertising?

I've often heard that the police want us to report suspicious activity. Last week my wife called the police to report some people on bicycles removing a car stereo from a car with broken windows. She was following these people in her car while phoning the police. The police told her that they wouldn't investigate because no burglary had been reported. The people taking the stereo might have been the legal owners of that equipment.

The quest is: WHAT DO THE POLICE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT?

Or is there a reason that traditional braces would be preferable?

I want to see most of the questions but I'm really not qualified for questions on pregnancy or beauty. How can I selectively remove these categories from my screen?

My parents very recently moved into a rest home (in a different state). They have no transportation so gift cards are out. Can someone tell me what people in a rest home need or would appreciate for Christmas?

I know the arguements - It gives you more daylight hours in the summer and canceling it gives you earlier daylight hours in the winter. It can save a few pennies of power.

I would argue that a vast majority of people could care less about any of that and find that this only disrupts their sleep patterns twice a year for the benefit of special interests.

By the way - since congress decided to change the dates Daylight Savings will begin and end -- none of our computerized clocks will now automatically change at the right time. THANKS!

People seem totally panicked about nuclear power's potential to kill thousands of people if not used properly. These same people don't seem nearly as panicked with our national transportation system that actually IS killing thousands of people per year or the hundreds of coal miners that have died providing our current sources of power.

What is it you get (or benefit from) if you convert a few Christians to your philosophy? From your perspective, in a few years none of this will matter because you will cease to exist. So my question is why are you so zeleaous in your missionary work to convert the Christians?
