So I'm currently trying to reproduce some prints from my photo class. My problem is that when when i print them they are coming out with a purplish tint as opposed to a nice neutral gray. I understand that is partly because I'm using CMYK inks, but is there anyway I can reduce the purple color in them. I know that any reproductions I do will never be as good, as the original prints, but the purple is kind of pissing me off.

When I first joined Deviant Art some time ago the site was full of many good artists, that showed talent, and had a lot of decent work. Now I'm not saying you still can't find good artist there, because I know you can. However lately I've noticed that it has become more and more infiltrated with bad anime. Every time I log on now all I ever see is fan art about the same anime shows, that I find not only unoriginal but just flat out bad.

So I'll be starting Photography at school next semester, and I know that pretty much my entire Photo 1 class is going to be film, which I have never used before. I've always used digital just because that's what I've grown up with. But I got like 50 roles of film for Chrismass this year, and i figured i would put some to use over the rest of break, and just experiment a little with it. So I'm looking for some pros and cons to using 35mm vs digital? Are their any advantages to using it vs using digital? I'll also be using my dads camera [with different lenses and stuff] which is a little more complex then anything I've used before, as the only camera I've ever had was a point-in-shoot. Is there anything I should watch out for or keep in mind while using it?

is there a free program similar to skype that i can use to have video conversations with more then one person?

to factory settings take up hard drive space. I've been told it does, but, I've always though that when you do restore to factory setting the entire hard drive is formatted, and then everything reinstalled.

I need to know because I have a lot of used up hard drive space, but I don't have that much on my computer.

I've been looking into buying a video camera lately, but I don't want something really complicated so I was looking at cameras with flash memories.

How good are they? Like whats the quality of the video that record, and what video files does it record to?

So i have these two cats that flatulate a lot, and it stinks really bad. I know it's not their food because I have tried other brands, and they still have gas. So is it normal?

So i have this friend that suffers from Anti-social paranoia disorder. He is 21 years old doesn't have a job, lives with his parents, and doesn't go to school. He pretty much waists his life everyday doing nothing.

Me and another friend of mine want to help him get into college this fall, and he claims that he isn't ready because of his anti social problems and that he won't be ready until his medication work. However he has all summer to get his medication and for them to work.

So i guess I wanna know how long it really takes for these meds to actually be effective in the body?

He is making it sound like it will take months before they do anything.

I'm currently using AVC video converter, and every time i try to convert a .vob file to .avi or .wmv the audio and video files are out of sync.

how can i fix the problem?

So last night my computer wouldn't start up, it was making noise, and lighting up but not booting. Today I pulled it out opened it up, and pretty much tore it apart cleaned every last inch of dust, and put all back together. Now there was a lot of dust in there, as this is the first time I've actually cleaned the inside of my computer since I got it 2005. What I'm curious about is whether my computer didn't boot because it was dusty as it seems to work fine now, or if cleaning is only going to be a placebo effect and if i should be worried about experiencing these problems again in the future?

Recently when i try to turn my computer it makes the sound it would normally make when you boot it, but then it doesn't actually start, it just continues to make that sound.

Could this be my motherboard gone bad or somethin else?

So my mom is going to buy me a laptop pretty soon for college, and I really don't know what I should be looking for. I'm going to be doing Illustration and Photography so I know I'm gonna need something with good hardrive space, and memory. I also do a lot of multimedia, music, movies, and stuff like that. I was looking at this one brand, asus, and found a fairly decent looking one, but I've never heard of this brand before. Is it a good brand? and could someone give me some suggestions as to what brands would be good?

BTW DO NOT SUGGEST MACS. I want a PC. DON'T waist your time telling me they are good computers, and that I should get one. Plain and simple I DON'T WANT A MAC.

I'm doing a research paper on the negative effects of generalizing people through music, and I need some examples of some songs from the 1960's 70's, and 80's that have been recently remade. Content or genre of the song doesn't really matter. I just need some examples.
