  • Why do spawning salmon get a crooked tip on their nose??

This is a question for my son 's school work. If anyone can direct him to a web site that would lead him to the answer on his own that would be even better. Thanks in advance.

  • Are certain businesses paying people to log onto Yahoo Answers??

Is it my imagination or does it appear that certain people are answering many questions with either the suggestion to go to a certain website or to a particular business for answers.? I understand the need to search for new ways for self promotion, but I find it a little sleazy. Some, not all, are genuinely asking for answers and having someone just inserting the business name or the website on a mass scale instead of sincerely trying to respond is lame. Home Depot is one of the culprits and trust me, they do not have all the answers.

  • What has happened to work ethic in todays world?

Fewer people want to earn a living in todays world. Each generation seems to be getting worse. Yet we want more and more without having to work for it. What started the ball rolling in such a downhill way? Instant gratification seems to have sown these nasty seeds. Why work when you can play all day? Has the government made it too easy for some to claim monetary support? Note: This in no way pertains to those who cannot enter the job force due to health reasons.

  • Why are my cat(s) suddenly starting to pee on everything and how can I stop her/them? Both are adult females.

We went away for Christmas and I had a housesitter. She told me when I got back that a cat peed on the kitchen counter. I was shocked (and grossed out) but thought they were just mad at us for leaving them. Since we have been back we have found "marked" spots on the counter twice, my bag, my work shirt and the guys hockey equipment in garage. What is up with one or both of my girls. These two have been fairly well behaved since we got them as kittens 4 or 5 year ago. I don't want to have them put down and I cannot pass off the problem to someone else. These two are family. Help!?
