Hey guys, I will be starting new nurse orientation at Winthrop next week and I was just wondering if any current employees can give me a heads up on what I can expect during orientation. Also anything specific I should focus on for the pharmacology exam besides calculations? Do they give you a study guide? Any info would be great. Thanks

  • Vacations ideas for Thanksgiving weekend 2011?

My boyfriend and I live in Long Island, NY. We would like to spend Thursday with our families for Thanksgiving dinner and then go away together Friday - Sunday. We'd prefer some kind of all-inclusive (or mostly inclusive) resort type place that's not too far of a drive (NY, PA, CT, etc). I was thinking a bed and breakfast but I'm worried we would be bored. We once stayed at Pocono Palace in PA which is like a romantic weekend resort place which we liked but we wanted to try somewhere different. We'd like to spend up to $200/night. If anyone has any suggestions, it would really be appreciated. Thanks :)

  • Do you think the Yankee game will be rained out today? 6/11/11?

I'm trying to figure out if I should come in from Long Island or not .... Weather.com says 95% t-storms at 1pm but then tapers off to 60% 50% 40%.. etc. It sounds like there might just be a delay but I don't know. What do you think?

  • Can anyone give suggestions on which inkjet printer under $80 is the most efficient?

I'm not at all interested in printing photos. Just around 20 pages of text every so often so I was wondering which printer nowadays is ink-efficient and possibly requires ink that doesn't cost too much? Thanks :)

  • Whats wrong with my computer?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop with AMD Sempron processor and Windows XP. A few months ago, I had a virus on it and got it removed along with wiping out the whole thing, getting rid of Norton and downloading Trend Micro Titanium. Since then it's never worked better, websites open lightning fast and I haven't had any problems whatsoever until a couple days ago. All of a sudden websites weren't opening and when they did, I try to type and what I type shows up way slower than when I typed it. I don't go on any untrustworthy sites (at least I don't think I do). Just AOL.com, facebook, amazon and pogo. Also, when I hit ctrl alt delete, and the internet isn't even open, under "processes" it shows multiple iexplore processes running, which i've never seen before. I ran a full system scan for Trend Micro and nothing was detected. I also ran Malwarebytes and EasyCleaner. If there is any advice someone can give me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Question about osteoarthritis?

A 65 year old obese woman with a diagnosis of osteoarthritis has been having increased pain in her right knee that is made worse with movement and weight bearing and is relieved by rest. Physical examination reveals an enlarged joint with a varus deformity; coarse crepitus is felt over the joint on passive movement.

What is the origin of the enlargement of the affected joint, the varus deformity, and the crepitus that is felt on movement of the affected knee?

((would the answer to this be that those complications are caused by the lack of joint cartilage?))

Explain the predilection for involvement of the knee in persons such as this woman?

((this one I'm just not exactly sure what's being asked)

any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated, thanks
