looking for a site to find out what model of john deere rear engine riding lawn mower i have body has been repainted so model number was peeled off is there any other place they would put model number on the body

1rst have a tecumseh 8 horse snow blower starts but will backfire and shoot flames from muffler person i bought it from said all it needs is carb cleaned i know that is not the problem if anything it seems to be getting to much gas also have a 3 1/2 horse lawnmower i cannot start replaced plug and regapped plug has spark so i took carb apart cleaned have steady steam out of ports reassembled still wont start and last have a 6 3/4 horse briggs on craftsman lawnmower mower is 2 years old starts right up but idle fluctuates allot even when cutting grass but never dies out thought of the gas cap already took it completely off and problem doesn't change has the newer throttle less carb on it any help would be great

have a 1999 ford winstar problem with the rear quarter glass opening and closing is electic sometimes has power and other times no power is there a relay that runs each quarter glass been thinking of directly running to battery to see if motor is good is this a good idea doesnt seem to have broken wire cause wire isn not moved when it has power and no power looking for someone that has had this problem or worked on this problem

have a briggs and stratton 3.5 horse motor runs fine for the first 5 minutes then devolopes a miss changed plug and coil same problem has the newer trotless carb when miss starts will emit puffs of black smoke looking for the cause of this

have a john deere riding lawn mower looking to put electric start on has pull start only now i know i need battery,starter,relay,ignition switch but is there anything i would need has bolts in cylinder block and flywheel looking for the cheapest way to do this and how to do or a web site to help me do this had a steroke and hard for me to pull start it

have a mtd single stage snowblower tring to find what motor it has its not a briggs and stratton or techumseh called a small engine shop they said its a mtd engine and motor is chinnesse but went to the mtd website and states that mtd does not make a motor there is no model number on the motor itself just the blower and is 31a2m1a706 is only 2 years old and is available in stores as tecumseh stop putting motors on mtd product 1 or 2 years ago any help would be nice

working on the new MDT motor 123 cc on single stage snow blower neighbor gave to me but is in pieces all parts are their problem is i am putting the piston back in bore but can not compress rings enough to go in i know they make compression ring installer but this should be only time i will need one has anybody made one from things around the house also when putting side cover on block fits really tight on crank should i just pound on it because the bearing is already installed on cover

have no idea what make tractor is but have model # was made in ohio so take it is a mtd or murray

is a box frame tractor have power to starter selionod but do power coming out so i take it is a saftey switch cause light goes on showing mower is engaged just dont know where saftey switch

is located most man. put saftey switch is general area just dont know where to start looking anybody have any ideas

have a craftsman self propelled lawn mower with 5 horse briggs and stratton motor primmer bulb not priming gas to carb took air filter box off put ear to it can hear air being pushed out so just in case had another filter box with primmer so i mounted that one also replaced gasket still same problem so disassembled again this time i removed float bowl cleaned also shot carb cleaner up gas passage also up primer passage ran small piece of mechanics wire through primer that has man. hole in middle and wire came out of air filter box as it is suppose to then tried to put wire in primmer passage but wire will only go in about a inch what i was wondering is there anything i can soak carb in overnight to free up passage in carb without wrecking carb and if there is anything made do i soak it in pure or have to de lute it

working on my 5 horse ride brigs and strattonr has no spark pulled flywheel doesn't have points checked wire running to plug no cuts also checked secondary wire no cuts to ground on engine reassembled took steel wool to megaton and magnet on flywheel to get rid of rust checked all wires to secondary wire all are tight put all together still no spark even install new PLUG all gaps are plug and air gap for megaton are correct is thee anyway of checking out megaton because that is the only thing that i can see that might cause a no spark

5 horse riggs and statton primer bulb would stay in when pushed so replaced now primer works great now will not prime gas in carb so replaced pick up tube that goes in tank was told they have check ball in tube but theydon'tt have one so cleaned carb with carb spray and ran fine wire throu vanes repaced 2 gaskets that fit under carb still will not prime gas can hear sucking in tank when bulb is pushed anybody have any ideas why its not priming gas to carb

trying to set up my default mail have windows vista every time i try to email a business box pops up saying my default mail was not properly installed trying to make yahoo mail as my default called isp and they have no idea also keep getting a certificate error any time i go to a site any help would be great also had this problem since i got it back from computer repair shop and they removed spyware and replaced phone Modem

installed disk for sage internet but unable to send emails to publish ad to ebay,craigslist, and kijiji.com but internet access does work looking for what needs else needs to be changed any help would be great i'm kind of dumb when it comes to computers

my wife is first power of attorney and 2 nd power of attorney is her sister for her mother she has two other children who did not want to be involved with the family for a number of years well anyways mother was diagoised with alzhemers she fell in her home we had fist alert installed but she didnt press button when she fell so we sent her to nursing home for rehab on her shoulder cause she did damage to her shoulder now we had the cops program which has nurses comming in to give her showers and giving her pills that doctor has prescribed now we had meeting with social workers last week with the two power of attorneys along with nuse from cops program,social worker from from nursing home and social worker from the cops program we all agreed that my mother in law needs 24 hour supervision which we have asked the family members if they would be willing to pitch in and help all have said no including 2nd power of attorney which is fie with us then we asked my adult kids if they would be willing they said yes without hesitation now the two sisters are threating my wife that if she removes her mother they will contact protective services on her mind you she would be supervised at her home more one on one than in any nursing home she was resently seen by her doctor and what he says is she could return home but only for a year or 2 then she would have to be placed in nursing home because demensia is a progressive condition of alzhimers but to what extent do social workers know more about demensia than a doctor which they are all failing to see and as far as social worker from nursing home is saying is she does not need skilled workers at this time so family members would be acceptable people to help out it seems like every time wife comes up with a plan her sister seems to find a way to thow a wrench into it now that the daughter that wast involved in her mothers life but wants to now looking for a salution to this problem cause all this arguing is driving me nuts also during meeting my sisterin law which i hate to call her that sjhe would always interupt people when they were talking and she cut my wife down so much and said my wife doesnt follow things throu which is far from the truth if anyone isnt following throu it would be her anyways i herd enough from her and blurted out for her to shut up which i had wanted to do for the last 20 years but have been afraid of doing but since i had a mild stroke 4 years ago seems like i dont take any crap from anyone now just looking for anyones view point that has gone throu this

have a murray rider no model # starts fine but put into gear i feel it jerk but doesnt move so put rear end in air put into gear tires move but can stop wheels by hand with very little pressure against tire were these mowers ever built were you could adjust belt mower by my guess would be out of the 70s

have a murray 5.5 horse tecumseh model # tvs 90 trying to increase the rpm's and make mower run faster can adjust throttle but will not run fast enough cause when i go to cut the lawn will die out from cutting grass that is not really long just cleaned out the carb with carb cleaner and linkage is on correct just need to have mower run a little bit faster

have a craftsman 6.75 horse has tecumseh motor problem is starts fine and will run great tried it last night ran it for half hour problem starts when you shut off and try to restart it will run for about 2 minutes or less took carb apart and cleaned out put it back correctly and yes the linkage is on right still same problem so added sea foam to gas same problem anybody have any ideas why it does this on second start sure would like this fixed
