I'm just a typical hardworking 24 year old girl that's just trying to get by. I realize that sometimes life is not perfect and that kindness is a rarity. I've always been the underdog all my life. So I guess you could say I have a soft spot for the little guys.

  • Mixed signals from an Ex-Boyfriend?

How long do you wait before talking after a break up?

I've was in a serious relationship with my BF he's 24 and I'm 27, living together, meet each others friend's & family, dating for about a year and recently broke up.

He kind of stopped making the effort in our relationship, (communicating and talking to each other) because he felt that us living together was sufficient quality time. We work opposite schedules and when he does have a day off, he says he's so stressed out from work he just wants to go relax with the guys. So i asked him to move out, in a very calm manner, not as a break up but that he was getting too comfortable, i felt like i was just taking care of him like his mom. He took it really harsh like I "dumped him."

We parted ways on very calm and since terms, he told me he needed time to work on himself but he told me that we're going to keep seeing each other we just have to make time. One of our mutual friend told me he was very upset and told his buddies that i was obsessive and he was unhappy in the relationship and that's why it didn't work out. But when I confronted him about what he said, he deny it and continued to say, we'll see each other soon. He hasn't called or talked to me in 2 weeks, He's posting activities on his FaceBook like he's staying busy. I'm kind of torn and confused on why he said he wants to continue seeing me but hasn't made the effort and doesn't seem to really care (posting FB activities and being active, which he usually never does).

    I wanted to know:

How long is a reasonable time to wait before talking to my ex without invading his space?

Why he hasn't called or text since he said we were going to continue seeing each other?

Purposely posting a lot of activities on his Face Book which he usually never does?

Or is the relationship really over since he bad mouthed me to his friends about how Obsessive I am but i don't understand why he would tell me he wants to continue seeing me?

Or is he immature and hurt and is using this silent treatment as payback?

    Please help. Thank you

  • Tarot card reading pertaining to relationships?

I'm relatively new at reading tarot cards and did a reading regarding what’s going to happen to me and my ex-boyfriend in the near future. I got the just of the interpretation but it’s rather confusing. If someone can help me interpret what the cards mean I would really appreciate it. I used the Celtic cross and noticed I had a lot of cards which involved actually people.

    1: The present issue: Moon

    2: Obstacles: Page of Wands

    3: Conscious: The Emperor

4: Unconscious: Reversed Queen of Wands

5: The Past: 8 of Pentacles

6: Immediate future: Knight of Cups

7: Approach: Reversed 8 of Pentacles

    8: External Influences: Reversed Hangman

9: Hopes & Fears: Reversed Page of Cups

    10: Outcome: 10 of Wands:

I know the 10 of wands means work and struggles. Does that mean that our relationship is really over?

  • Went from "I love you" to "let's break up..."?

I've been with my boyfriend for over a year and we've had many up's and downs but overall we really love one another. I noticed that when he cares about me, he goes over and above to show how much he loves me ie. surprises, roses, gifts, lots of phone calls and text messages. We hung out nearly 5 times a week and it was starting to become like i was being smothered and i felt like I was doing nothing but just spending time with him. When I confronted him about needing some space he flipped out and said that he wanted to spend more time with me. I told him we needed to take a break. After about a week of thinking things over, i decide that i wanted to work things out with him but he freaks out and says that, "We should break up..." and becomes a complete jerk which is a complete 180 from how he acted before. I don't understand how one minute he says he loves me and we were going to get married to.... let's break up. I thought maybe he met someone new but his best friend said he's not dating or talking to any girls. So what's the deal?

If any guys have seen or dealt with a similar situation i could use some help. Thanks

  • Long Distance Relationships?

I meet this amazing guy on a conference trip and pretty much have everything in common such as hobbies, movies, music, and life. I think the moment we met each other we just clicked. That week we went to the movies, dinner, sight seeing, took tons of pictures, laughed and was just being ourselves.

Since then we went back to our lives but we've talked, texted and e-mailed each other every day. We adore each other however we live literally all the way across the states. Even though I can't see him, just hearing his voice and reading his e-mails and text messages makes me so happy like he's right there with me. He's came down and visit me for a week and we had blast like we've known each other all our lives. I'm going to go visit him next month. We both have very busy work schedules and had both come out of relationships which involved us getting hurt.

I've never been in a long distance relationship and to be honest I'm very scared about our future. He said he was going to move down here to be with me but with his business and everything going on in his life it would be in 5 years. For those who have been in long distance relationships please respond.

  • I'm looking for a Crayola wind up clock

This may be an odd question but I remember when I was a kid (1992) my dad bought me a Crayola crayon metal wind up clock. It had an old fashion look with the two bells on top. It was very colorful and after we moved to our new house, I realized I've lost it. My dad told me he bought it at home depot or something, however I googled this clock and searched e-bay and couldn't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get this clock? Thanks :)

  • Does getting a "title" really change the fact you are in an official relationship?

If you are in a happy relationship, going out on dates, hanging out with the person you care about, and are intimate, is it necessary to ask a guy the question for the title of being his "girlfriend?"

Does him not giving you the title change the relationship? How long should you date someone before this question should be brought up?

    Thanks.

  • For guys who use the "I don't want to be in a relationship" line?

I understand that the whole giving a girl the title "GF" may be too much of a commitment. But will dating a girl you like for a long period of time (6-12 months) grow on you and will make you change your mind to a possible relationship in the future?

Can you guys explain why you use this line?

  • Blaming actions on being drunk?

I went to a party which was thrown for me and two of my co-workers, one of which is the guy I'm dating and he was flirting with some other girls at the party. Through out the party he was casually slapping her butt and even eventually walked off into another room with her while I was busy. I can't even believe my eyes and I'm so shocked at to what to say or what to even expect after this. I'm sure he's going to blame it on the fact that he's drunk. Can anyone please help me out, no rude comments please.

  • Need some help with being in an immature relationship?

The relationship I have with my BF for 5 months is really odd.

We like to make fun of each other a lot, and push each other around (jokingly), and whenever we get jealous we always say, "Oh, are you going out with your (BF/GF) tonight?" Mostly he's the one that has this behavior. I go along with it because when I don’t or when I get offended sometimes with the jokes, he says that I’m too sensitive. But lately it's been making me think that maybe he'll never grow up and treat me like the women I need to be treated.

Is this just a phase? or am I stuck with this personality for the long run? He has been a gentleman in the beginning but hardly ever anymore. The longer I’ve been with him the more he’s like this. Need some honest input.

  • Need some answers, BF likes to party with his friends?

My boyfriend of 5 months and I hang out with each other mostly during the day like hang out and watch a movie, go to the gym, to the store or to go eat. However at night he likes to hang out with his friends and go to clubs and bars. He doesn't invite me and said that it's a guys night out kind of deal. I've been pretty understanding for a long time but it's starting to bother me because I know guys pretty much go to bars and clubs to meet other girls. He said he's not that kind of guy and that's not the case. What do you think I should do?

I appericate if the guys answering this question can give the detailed blunt honest truth.

  • Do people ever really change?

The relationship I've been in has been so good in the begining but it's starting to trickle down now. In the begining he used to care so much more, with the phone calls, texts, wanting to spend more time with me. Now it seems like he's always busy and never has time for me. Do people really change and fall out of love? We were different shifts now and hardly even see each other. I don't know if he'll ever be the same again.

  • Dream of a spiderweb and a black widow?

I used to dream a lot like I was in a novel and it read as a whole story. However this is the first time I've dream in almost a year.

I couldn't remember the whole dream other then it was late at night and I was trying to get somewhere by walking under a tree. That tree had a large spider web that I didn't see so I walked right into and and it clung on to me but I brushed it off. I then saw a very large black widow spider. It then jumped to me trying to find my boyfriend however I couldn't find him.

Can someone please tell me what that dream means. Thanks.

  • Guys being flakes?

I know that every relationship has it's little fights but lately it seems like everything he does he's a huge flake. The majority of the fights consists of him canceling on plans, due to work or him hanging out with his guy friends, because he never plans ahead or he forgot the dates, ie, concerts or events we said we'd go to together. I know he doesn't mean to forget however my patcients is running thin and it's begining to make me think that he doesn't care or make an effort to know the trouble I go through to do nice things for him. He said he does care and that he's sorry however he never makes it up to me. When I tell him to plan something nice for me he said he's not the type of guy that plans things. So, I don't know what to do anymore.

He said that I've been acting up because I do get frustrated and grumpy when he keeps doing this to me. However he's still nice and patcient to me. Should I stop making plans with him period or is it just bad timing and I'm over re-acting?

  • Question is for the the guys: Guys night out?

Maybe you guys can help clarify this for me but what's with guys night out once or twice every weekend at some bar or snowboarding trip or basketball game and Vegas runs. I respect that the guys need guy time to hang out but what's up with the no invite. I didn't think I would be a drag being that I'm pretty laid back and his friends seem to like me. By the way his quality time with me is like going out to eat at a fast food joint and hanging out at his place watching a movie.

  • What can you do for a guy to show him you care?

I'm a hopeless romantic so I really go out of my way to cook for my guy and call him to see what he's up to or send him text messages. I offer him back rubs and always try to take him to all the places i like, like hiking trails, or museums, and comedy shows. I mean I don't know short of telling him I really care about this guy.

What do "guys" like when a girl does something ________ for them. Please give me some in dept details because I’m all out of ideas. And yes I do give him mind blowing sex :)

By the way… He's also horrible at returning the favor. He said that he's not the romantic type of guy and he doesn’t like to plan stuff out. Does that mean he doesn't really care about me? Or he’s just lazy?
