  • My roots are starting to grow in darker..?

I have naturally blonde hair, but a while ago I decided to dye it a little lighter using the box dye you get from the store. Now the roots are starting to grow in this very dull, dark gray color. Why do you think this happened? Obviously it's a result of the hair dying but I can't possibly understand why my roots wouldn't just grow in my original hair color.

  • What would happen if I used Jergens Natural Glow healthy complexion when I have acne scars?

I recently purchased the Jergens natural glow body lotion which helps bring out your natural tan, and with it came the Jergens Natural Glow healthy complexion daily facial moisturizer. I'm a little hesitant to use it because I have dark spots left from acne and I'm afraid that using this product might make my spots even darker. What do you think will happen?

  • Foundation/concealer help!?

I have mild acne, but my biggest problem is the acne scarring. The past couple years, I've had breakouts mainly on my forehead, and even though I don't pick or pop the blemish, I'm left with tons of acne scars on my forehead. I use Cliniques Superbalanced Liquid Foundation, and a concealer by Smashbox... My problem is that I'm super self conscious because I have to put A LOT of concealer on my forehead to cover the scars.. Even though I put setting powder on after I put on the liquid foundation and concealer, my face gets very oily throughout the day, and my makeup doesn't look so good.

Do you have any makeup tricks for me, or can possibly recommend a full coverage liquid foundation?

  • I'm looking for the name of this one movie..?

So I'm looking for the name of this one movie (it's possibly a Christmas movie) that I saw maybe about 9 years ago. I only have a few vague details that I remember about the movie that I can give to you.. so here goes nothing: I remember that this young girl's boyfriend wants to propose to her in a skating rink, since she likes to skate.. however, the skating rink is closed, but the Zamboni guy is willing to give him 5 minutes to let her skate.... something else happens.. then I think she gets hit by a car..? Haha I know this is sooo far fetched, but if anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

  • Is there a difference between a "Christian-Catholic" and a "Catholic"?

I know that most people will say that Catholics are Christians, however I don't fully agree with this. Anyways, on facebook, I've noticed that some of my friends have written in their info section that they're "Christian-Catholic" and other just simply say they're "Catholic." Is there a difference between the 2?

  • How long does it take to do your makeup?

Just like the title says, how long does it take to do your makeup? And explain what you put on.

Personal example: I take about 30 minutes for eyeliner, mascara, foundation, concealer, and setting power.

It seems like it takes FOREVER for me to do my makeup! I don't even put on that much. ^^ Just what you read above. I feel like the majority of my time consists of trying to curl my stubborn lashes and making sure I put my concealer on perfectly.

  • Keep me logged in on Facebook?

When you select the "keep me logged in" box under your email and password on the home page, does it literally mean you're gonna appear online ALL the time, even when you logged out, or does it simply mean its gonna store your email and password so that you can just click "login" and then you'll be logged in?

  • To all the Catholics out there.. help?

I have recently started attending a Catholic school. Me not being Catholic, it is kinda hard to follow along with everything. This weekend we were given an assignment to do a bunch of research on a religious order. However, I don't really know what a religious order is.

I did some research and this is what I found:

Is this considered a religious order?

  • I am trying to look for this song with just these lyrics: ...?

I am looking for a song that I only know the lyrics to. I've never heard the song, but I saw a piece of paper with these lyrics written on it and I would really like to find out the name of the song and artist:

    Gun casings in strawberry fields

    Trampled footsteps in tall grass

    Soldiers yelling in agony

This life's not all it's cracked up to be

With death on the rise, and fear in their eyes

Struggling day to day is a part of our lives....

... Teach me how to live again, to breathe again, to love again

Teach me how to feel again, to be real again, to be free again

  • How long does Clinique 3 step skincare system take to work?

I've been using the Clinique 3 step skincare system for about a month now. I know that this system breaks your skin out to get all the bacteria up to the surface, but my skin has been pretty bad ever since I started Clinique. I've read reviews online, and most people had clear skin within 3 weeks. How long does it take for the this system to work?

Also, if Clinique doesn't clear my skin up within a couple of weeks, I wanted to try and get a refund. Can you provide me with a link with how I can get a refund.

  • Registering my IRH helmet?

I bought a new IRH-ATH-SSV helmet last Saturday, and I was looking at the box it came in, and it said to go to IRHHELMETS.COM to register your helmet. I believe this means that if your helmet is damaged within the first 3 years, they will replace it for half the cost. So I went on to the website but I couldn't figure out where to go to register my helmet.

If you could provide any links or anything, that would be great :)

  • What level would you put me at?

I'm interested in leasing a horse, and the flyer said intermediate to advanced rider, and I'm wondering what level I would be considered. (unfortunately I don't have any pictures or videos to show). I've been riding for almost a year and a half with my instructor.I started off with private lessons, and I am now in a group lesson with 2 other girls. I know how to walk, trot, canter, with and without stirrups. I've been jumping for a while now, doing courses that include cross rails and verticals. I also know how to groom, tack up, bathe, and lunge a horse. Over the summer, I exercised a school pony who needed to keep off weight, since she wasn't used in many lessons...

    Thanks for your help.

  • In the market for a new helmet...?

I'm in the market for a new helmet. I like the GPA helmets, but they're really expensive, so I was wondering if there was a website I could look up that has GPA helmets for under $150 (besides ebay)? Maybe even an IRH. I don't want a helmet that gives me a "bubble head." I like some of these helmets:

  • Tips on dealing with naughty horses...?

Yesterday for my lesson, I was put on a different horse. When I put the halter and lead rope on him and was ready to lead him, he just stood there and jerked his head upward. He finally budged and came out of his stall.

The next thing was when I was trying to put the bit in his mouth. He opened his mouth, but all he did was smile. I finally got the bit in his mouth after struggling for a few minutes.

He is also really slow at the trot, and no matter how much pressure I use, his trot pace stays the same (Unfortunately I forgot to bring my crop yesterday. I'll be sure to bring it next time). Whenever I cool him down for a minute after the canter and try and pick up my trot again, it takes him forever.

I survived yesterday, but how can I make it easier for both of us. All tips are welcome.... except "Use a crop". I know, I know. I'll bring my crop next week!

  • Help with studying for math...?

I need your tips on how to study for math! Math has always been a difficult subject for me. I struggle so much, and I question why I'm having such a hard time. I currently have a math tutor who I see once a week, I do all my homework, I review the material, I listen in class, I ask questions, I do review questions, I check my homework, I take notes in class, I ask for my sisters help, I review before quizzes and tests but nothing seems to work! I still get Cs on my tests and bomb the quizzes. I'm taking every measure possible to ensure that I get good grades on my quizzes and tests, but nothing seems to be working! I've been trying really hard, but now my confidence is through the floor. HELP!

  • How often should you change instructors?

It's pretty much common sense to switch an instructor every now and then, but how often? Can you go back to your old instructor after you've switched out a few time? (In other words, once you've outgrown a few other instructors, would it be ok to go back to your first one? The instructor I have now not only coaches beginners but also girls who have been riding for 6+ yrs) Any of you who have gone through this, how do you tell your instructor that you're moving on? I love my instructor, and I've often thought about what it would be like to leave her :(

  • Longing counterclockwise first?

When I learned how to longe a horse last month, my instructor said that I start by longing counterclockwise. She told me, "That's the way I learned, and I don't know if the person who taught me was lying, or if there is a set rule that you have to start longing counterclockwise." If you have to begin longing counterclockwise, why is this so?
