Hi! I've had a Wacom Bamboo Capture tablet for a year or so and it used to work just fine. Then I got a new computer and downloaded the driver software from the Wacom website. The computer recognizes the tablet and the touch sensor works perfectly, but it doesn't recognize the tablet pen. It is the right model pen and the pen has worked before but hasn't since I got the new computer. The driver software is correct for the tablet and for the computer model. The pen does not even trigger the light on the tablet, it is completely unresponsive. Any ideas as to how I may get my tablet pen working?

From Kindergarten to second grade, I didn't have many friends. There was one guy in the class who only had one friend, and that was me. He would always laugh at my jokes and he was a sweet kid in general and a very good friend. Then he left the school.

Six years later, I've seen him about four or five times in the same week, and he is the same guy, but now he is more attractive than he used to be. He has a very geeky-cute personality that I think is much like my own. He's pushing it a bit, though. We were together one night at a party and the next thing I know is that he is sitting right next to me with his arm around my shoulders. When we were going to drive him home, his dad's car pulled in, and when I got into my mom's car, I hug him. When we pull back, he kisses me on the cheek. In front of my mom.

I think he's being a little quick about this whole thing. I barely know him now and he wants to be in a relationship right away. I was thinking that I'd like to get to know him better first.

The real reason that I'm asking this question is that I have a habit of putting everyone else's opinions first. The reason that we had few friends is because we were the class outcasts. A few years later after he left, more than half the class became my friends, but I think they feel the same way about my friend, and they still make fun of him even though he's changed a bit. I know what they're doing is wrong and my friend doesn't deserve any of that, but I don't want to pull away from him because of other people's opinions. I don't want anything rushed either, because I think that's how my first and last relationship ended (although the first guy never told me why). Somehow when I'm sitting next to him, I can't help thinking of how people always shunned him for being nerdy. That's making the two opinions in my head clash.

Meanwhile, the five or so visits happened when I was visiting my hometown for two weeks after being away for two months. I left my hometown again and I won't return for another eight months. He tried starting something even though it would have to end pretty quickly. Maybe he's just desperate...?

Anyways, how do you tell a guy nicely that you want to go slow, or maybe not at all until you return home? How do you deal with moral matters clashing in your head? I'd really appreciate answers.

My Dad and I just moved away from our home in the States a month ago. We moved across the sea to Europe. We left my Mom behind because we were coming back to visit two months after the move and then we'd tae her back with us. About one month into the move, I walk into our new living room and my Dad is watching porn! My mom and dad been married for more than 25 years, too, and I've only heard them fight a handful of times since I can remember. They're extremely happy together, so I feel that what my dad is doing is wrong. I'm only twelve, so my reactions to anything dealing with sex usually consists of pouting about it for a while because I have a hard time taking anything in. Then, when my parents or anyone else approach me about it, I try to act calm and say as little as possible, but I'm really starting to cry. I flee the situation and try to do something that would cheer me up quickly, like read some comics online. Then my parents would try to talk to me but I avoid the situation. Anything from two minutes to a day later I forget what happened until I have to face the person again, which is when it floods back to me. After a while, I end up thinking that "humans have needs, I'll understand when I'm older, whatever," but I still feel bad about it in some way, like I feel that my parents or whoever it may concern is doing something wrong. I end up depressed until it is all water under the bridge again until something else happens. I know this is probably a wrong way to face a situation, but I obviously don't know better. I'm in the, "flee the situation and try to do something that would cheer me up quickly" stage right now. I don't know what to do, and this seems to repeat itself often as I'm growing up, so I'm consulting anyone who cares for advice.

So... Any advice?

I have a friend who was my only guy-ish friend since we were in kindergarten. The last few years, he was a real jerk to me, but for that last few months, he's being exceptionally nice to me. I like him a lot more, and I think I might have feelings for him now. He's kinda cocky but he's still pretty sweet. I don't know how, but I wish that he'd see me the way I see him. Any advice?

I have a science fair project about how high flames can jump off of different kinds of logs that you could buy at an average store. Anyways, I looked all around the internet but couldn't find out what kind of physics makes flames jump in a fire. If you could give me solid information about it, or a website (none of the above may be Wiki related), I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am 11 and my sister is 16. We are always fighting, especially when I babysit these two kids. She is always calling me selfish, and I am unfit to take care of these kids. I get outraged, but what can I do? She does this every time they come over, and my mom is upset because of us fighting constantly. I go to her for help, but she gets more and more upset, and my sister ignores what I have to say, because "she is right and I am wrong". Today, the 3 year-old of the siblings that I babysit fell asleep on my sister's lap, so I sit next to my sister on the couch. I tell her it's because I am being paid to watch over the kids so I have to sit there. She says "there are two other couches and of course you have to sit next to me". She pulls my 300$ glasses off my face and throws them on the floor. Then, she snatches my DS out of my hands and says that she wouldn't give them back unless I moved. Then, she threatens to call our mom. I am so sick of her behavior, and I have only come up with 2 options, which both have terrible consequences.

1. Call my mom. My sister has her own cell, so after I call my mom, she can call her or text her own side of the story. I would use a house phone, so my sister could use another house phone so she could "add" to the conversation. Plus, my mom is at work, so she doesn't have time to yell at us. She also told us when she left for work that she didn't want to hear any arguing.

2. Poke at my sister's weak points. My sister thinks she is fat. I want to be as innocint at possible and not get into any trouble before I complain to my mom when she gets home. My sister will also throw a fit, and the kids would hear me calling my sister "cottage cheese thighs", which isn't a good addition to a vocabulary of a 3 year old and a 7 year old.

Both of those ideas are stupid (probably because I came up with them), so I need help. Please give me an idea of how to stop my sister from annoying me!

P.S. That was the compleate story. I didn't steal her stuff or anything. I was trying to calmly talk to her, and she says it was my fault for sitting next to her!

I just saved the game, and a few minutes later, I turned it back on. My file 1 wont load! I got so far, I was just about to be able to marry Lumina, I had four chickens (one was going to win a contest soon), a pregnant cow and I was almost done upgrading all my tools to mystril. My file 2 is very far back in the game and I have already had to start over the game because of my sister... Anyways, I am really obsesed with that game, and I would hate for it to be broken or to start over. I heard that sometimes if you save while you have hired the fishing harvest sprite team your game will be stuck after you save. Is this true? Please respond soon...

About 6 weeks ago, my parents got a wii for the family and didnt test it. Yesterday, we opened it and plugged everything like we where supposted to do, and the LED light didn't light up. We got it on Ebay and the person who sold it to us says it was only a 7 day refund. We have been waiting for a wii for so long, and we dont want to be stuck with a broken one!
