If married do you have to file married, or can you file single? Reason being, if partner has debt, that is being garnished or about to be and will be withheld from their tax return, will that become their partners debt as well when they file and make them loose their tax return too?

My question what is the best approach, suggestions? I read tabs and try to play certain songs, I watch countless videos on youtube about playing and try to follow along.
