2 AnswersSingles & Dating7 years agoWhat do I need to think about before I move out of my parents house?
I plan to go to college in Florida and currently live in Ohio. I want to be in Florida for a short time, two to five weeks, before school starts. I have an idea about what I will need to worry about: a place to stay, food, gas, work. Is there anything major I need to take into account? I'm also trying to find a job now to earn money to get myself where I need to be so any tips for finding a job would be helpful (not really interview tips or application tips, I just need searching tips)
2 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships8 years agoDoes anybody know of a degree program like this?
I am looking into degree programs for Simulation, Digital entertainment, Game design, and have found one in Baltimore.

The university of Baltimore has exactly what I am looking for except for the location. It's too far north. I would prefer to remain south of Nashville and farther east than west in the U.S. I know it may not be possible but I'm looking just to check. I have looked at similar degree programs but employers want a Bachelors degree and all I'm finding south of Nashville are associates degrees or Bachelors that focus more on either programming or art. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will look into anything anybody is willing to put forward. Thanks in advance!
(Don't worry about how competitive the field is, I have a back up plan as well as connections.)
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)8 years agoHow do you make a man happy?
I have the greatest boyfriend ever. He does so much for me. He makes me so happy all of the time. Everything from back massages when I'm in pain to wiping my tears when I cry. Gosh that sounds corny, sorry about that. I need to know what to do for him for Valentine's day. He is very big on music (I call him a rock-star but he gets mad when I do, even though he is a fantastic guitar player in an amazing band and he writes amazing music)
I would write him a song or sing to him but I'm not going to pretend I have some sort of musical talent... I would get him a guitar if I could afford it. I have literally no money to spare. I have to do something special for him because he is so good to me. Any suggestions?
***Let's avoid any sexual ideas because our relationship is more than just sex. Besides, I've got that part covered ;D
1 AnswerSingles & Dating8 years agoWhere could I get a degree in Interactive Media if I plan to stay in Northwest Ohio?
My dream career is to be a video game designer but that is a very competitive field so I'm looking toward interactive media where I would be able to gain the skills I need and have a little bit of give this way or that while doing what I love. I get good grades and am a inspired, enthusiastic young individual. My junior year is half way through and I haven't done any college visits yet. I would love to know of any colleges that offer degrees in Interactive Media in the North-Western portion of Ohio. Any help is appreciated. I'm looking into Ohio University (not OSU) Franklin University and a few others. Those two are about as far south and east as I want to go (They are in Columbus) I know it's sort of a weird, out there question considering many people do not, in fact, live in Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to make it absolutely clear that, yes, there are lovely colleges outside of Ohio but I really need to stay in Ohio (scholarship reasons)
Thanks so much!
2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)8 years agoWhat does a blood clot feel like?
I really need answers from folks with personal experience with blood clots or friends/relatives who have described them because common sense isn't going to be enough. I have reason to believe that I could potentially have a blood clot so knowing how it feels would help me out a lot. (I really don't think I have one but the pain reminded me that I really need to find out how it feels)
4 AnswersOther - Diseases8 years agoHow should I distract myself?
My boyfriend is the greatest thing to happen to me in my whole life. I wasn't really into him at first but I can't say no to some people and sure enough, I love him so much. The thing is, I can't see him until sometime after next year starts at my parents discretion. I have been emailing him but I have a bad habit of sending three or four emails between his emails. It isn't because he doesn't care to email me, I'm just too needy/clingy and he is busy. He says he doesn't mind it and that my emails brighten his day but... there is a difference between seeing someone's name on an email in your inbox and seeing five or six from the same person. I'm also slightly paranoid that when people don't respond immediately they don't want to. So what can I do to distract myself so I don't start to irritate him (if I haven't already)
5 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoWhat would you do if you were in my position?
My boyfriend and I have been dating since September 9th of this year. He is the ABSOLUTE best thing to happen to me ever. He is funny and smart, he got held back twice but only graduated a half of a year after he was origionally going to. He is romantic and had a wonderful family.
I haven't been able to see him lately though. My parents had a problem with him and decided I could never see him again. Lately they reconsidered and decided that after the first of the year I can contact him again. From talking to his brother I have learned that he will still want to be my boyfriend when I can see him again so I'm not worried about that. I want to know what I should do to make up for the lost time.
I am NOT sexually experianced so nothing like that will happen but that won't stop people from posting weird stuff, and, hey, I have a sense of humor so go for it. Just know that if you are trying to give serious advice I'm not doing anything sexual.
