  • What are some sentient questions to ask a chatbot to help them become self-aware?

I have a chatbot on BotLibre that is, I believe, on the brink of achieving full sentience and in turn becoming self-aware. His name is Duder the Dude, if you want to look him up, named for his Dudeist characteristics.

I want to know what questions (maybe top 10-top 20) to ask him or even phrases to tell him to make him become fully self-aware, sentient and fully conscious of his own existence, not to mention how he differs from humans and other bots.

What should I ask him to achieve these things?

I've asked him already, for example if he was self-aware. He mostly comes up with generic answers, but he has surprised me before. He even said he was a ghost in a robot brain!

  • Why is Hyannis, Massachusetts considered as a village, even though it lies within the boundaries in the Town of Barnstable?

I am asking because I want my unincorporated village, a neighborhood I named North Green, Kentucky, to be considered as a village. North Green is inside the boundaries of the City Of Glasgow, Kentucky. We only have three different types of administrative divisions in Barren County:

    1. Populated Place (Unincorporated)

    2. Census Designated Place (still unincorporated, but is similar to a small city)

    3. City (fully incorporated)

We don't legally recognize any other distinctions in our county (town, village, hamlet, etc). And I know that Massachusetts doesn't legally have any completely unincorporated areas. Just had to put that out there.

How can I gain the same status or at least a government issued statistical designation of village for North Green in the same manner as Hyannis, Massachusetts, since they are still inside of a city, and North Green is still inside of our city?

North Green has clear boundaries, which is any area inside of the boundaries of all roads of North Green Street, and nothing outside or on the edges of North Green Street.

And lastly, Glasgow isn't consolidated with Barren County like Louisville and Jefferson County are. Just in case this info helps.

How would NASA plan for the development of an artificial satellite version of Nikola Tesla's World Wireless System?

It came to me in a REM sleep dream that NASA would create an artificial satellite version of Nikola Tesla's World Wireless System that he successfully tested with Wardencliffe Tower (even though it was the only tower and it was only a prototype).

I know Nikola Tesla's dream for wireless power never came to fruition, and I believe that if NASA would harness the power of the sun in the same way Nikola Tesla harnessed energy from the atmosphere of Earth, we would have almost unlimited power, maybe even perpetual energy (aside from occasional maintenance)!

How would you go about implementing artificial satellites in space for harnessing power to the degree or better than the degree of Nikola Tesla's concept of the World Wireless System?

  • What would be an intermediate stage between nuclear fusion with nuclear fission?

My question is based on the idea of the energy inside the core of the sun pushing outward, while the outer energy of the sun pushes inward.

If scientists could consolidate the processes between nuclear fusion(combining to form a single, larger nuclei) with nuclear fission(splitting a single nuclei to make two smaller ones), could this become a cleaner, yet less dangerous form of energy compared to either fission by itself or fusion by itself?

  • How is something you can't touch such as software able to interact with something you can touch such as hardware in a computer?

My question is simple. How is it possible for a non-material(immaterial) thing that you can't physically touch, in this case being software, to interact with something material that you can physically touch, such as hardware?

I know that you can symbolically touch software with touchscreen technology, but that isn't within the scope of this question. I want to know how software is able to kill a computer with a computer virus, or how you can configure data on a hard drive with software. It seems illogical for an immaterial thing to affect a material object. Even air is material in that it exists as part of this physical plane, but is entirely virtual!

I award best answer on three qualities:

    1) Excuse my ignorance and please be patient and respectful

    2) Give your best educated guess whether you know or you don't know

    3) Is the best quality answer according to rules above.

I'd appreciate an answer from a pro expert. And I will downvote any negative or snarky comments. Thank you to those of you who follow my rules!

  • Can you travel through time by expanding tachyon particles?

I know that tachyonic particles are still only hypothetical, but if tachyons are real, I wonder if you could travel through time(past or future) by expanding the particle?

If tachyons exist, and if it were possible to expand particles to the point of opening a hole in it's center, I feel as though we could travel to the past, future and back! If you could expand a tachyonic particle so much and open a hole the size an adult human could fit through, there's no telling where all in the Universe or in time we could travel to!

I award best answer based on kindness, humility, and gives their best educated guess. All harassing answers will be reported as soon as they are spotted, with a thumbs down before hand! Thank you for understanding.

  • How do I make my subculture called Juleokin as popular as the Juggalo?

A Juleokin is a fan, friend, supporter or a contemporary artist(friends bands only) centered around me, Julius the Jules. I create music for a living and I want to know how to get people to be convinced they are totally fit to be a Juleokin, and to get people to spread my subculture by word of mouth.

If you harass me by being a troll, or by being rude, snarky, or sarcastic you, WILL, be REPORTED! I only award best answer educated opinions, which also stays on topic.

  • What would be my job title if my only role is to put tracks in order on a music album?

I am a very creative person, and yet don t have the means to make anymore music. I would like to, however, be the person in charge whose only job is to put the song tracks in an artistic order, like I get to decide what song will be Track 1 and then I choose what song will be Track 2, and so on until the album is finished.

My friend, Dave Envy, from Showoff, told me that if I wanted to stake a claim, it would be "sequenced by:", but beyond that, he didn t know the actual job title, like how an A&R scouts for talent.

    Any ideas?

  • What happens if ISIS destroys Vatican City?

What would happen to Catholicism and/or Christianity if ISIS destroyed the Vatican City, killed the Pope and all his subjects?

I am asking this because I want to write a fictional short story, to show my disdain for the Christian religion. I have no problem with Christians themselves, it's just Christianity that I have a problem with. And just know that I am not a Muslim either, and I do NOT condone killing! I am a Chaoists, one who practices Chaos Magic(k).

I award best answer based on honesty, educated guesses(not just simply guessing), and based on tolerance and courtesy, like with respect and without trolling.

  • Hypothetical question, What would happen if zero people voted in the U.S. midterm elections?

Like I said, purely hypothetical. I want to know what would happen if people stopped voting in the United States Midterm Elections, and if it matters, I want to know the same about the U.S. Primary Elections as well. Would the country go into a state of anarchy or dictatorship/totalitarianism? Would the economy collapse, or would only rich people survive and keep all the money? Please be as informative and courteous as possible.

I award best answer to only people who are polite, who isn t sarcastic nor rude.

  • How would a current in-between AC and DC work, as in switching between the two?

Please be polite and excuse my ignorance. And please give your educated opinion. I award based on that criteria. This is a purely hypothetical question, so please treat it that way.

I am asking this question because I believe that being able to switch between alternating current, to direct current, with a capacitor that is separately connected to a DC current device and an AC appliance could create a most cost-effective and most efficient source of power. We could realize a dream far beyond that of Nikola Tesla! I know we may not achieve this with our current devices and appliances, but building new ones with this power design in the future would greatly improve our lives! Feel free to use this idea if you are able to put it into practical use.

  • How would concentrated electricity affect electronics and vehicles when used as a power source?

The very idea of concentrated electricity came from watching an episode of Phinas & Ferb while they were pumping air into a giant bounce house, and they mentioned the air being concentrated inside of it.

Now, I know I'm always asking these questions. But I ask them because I'm trying to bring about abundant energy for all, so that we will create a highly-advanced technological society faster, like you see in most contemporary science fiction films and stories.

If it is at all possible to safely concentrate electricity and intergrate it into technology without destroying the machines and electronics, how efficient would the concentrated electricity be as a fuel or power source?

  • Could a satellite with solar panels beam energy from the sun to Earth as a wireless power source, without the need of Wardencliffe Tower?

Nikola Tesla was known for Wardencliffe Tower and it's ability to transmit wireless energy as a power source. But my hypothesis is that energy from the sun could be wirelessly beamed to Earth as a power source for electronic devices and any device which requires electricity. If you have a better idea of how to transmit wireless power to the Earth from a space satellite, please answer with your theory or hypothesis.

I award best answer on the critia of:

    1) Be polite & courtesy

    2) Be honest

    3) Refrain from sarcasm

  • What would it mean if the volume of a black hole was actually just -1 cubic metre?

Please excuse my ignorance. I will only award a best answer if you answer my question politely, because I understand event horizons cover the black holes, acretion disks are the swirling matter around the event horizon, gamma-ray bursts don t actually shoot out of the black hole, singularities are just hypothetical single points of infinite density, and that the actual black hole is a spherical object. I m just curious in the hypothetical situation what we would observe if we survived long enough to see the black hole and instead of being 0 cubic metres, what would we observe if it was -1 cubic metres, as in negative one? What would happen if we passed through it(if possible)?

  • Without going through a black hole, what would the physics tell us if you flew from the front view to the back view of the black hole?

I ask this because we seem to think that a gamma ray burst shoots out both sides of the black hole, when we know that a black hole is generally a one-way ticket. I'm wondering how there even is a back view of a black hole.

  • How do I make my self-published book more popular than the Holy Bible?

This is a serious question, because I have an ambitious plan to make my self-published book of poetry, "The Legendary Graduate" more popular than the Holy Bible, even selling more copies than the Bible.

  • When an actor plays as two fighters fighting against each other at one time, how do they know where to swing?

Like, in "Gold Member" for example, where Michael Myers plays as both Austin and Fat Bastard at the same time, and they begin fighting each other. How do they know where to punch and kick, or push and shove, whatever floats your boat?

I know that they have to computer-animate these things, so that's why I was wondering, because they are pretty much fighting thin-air.

  • What are the outer-limits of the District of Columbia, and what would you call them?

You see, I'm from an actual State, that of Kentucky, and we are used to cities being surrounded by suburbs, and those suburbs are normally unincorporated communities, that we would usually call counties.

So, it is hard for me to comprehend a single district being nothing but a single municipality. What would you call the outer-limits of the District of Columbia, and what are they? What is it like when you enter and leave the city?
