the trees "are" 50 feet tall.

i need a different word for are. something that says "damn those are huge". i had it in my head a moment ago, but cant come up with it anymore. i don't think its "span" (as in the trees span 50 feet tall. because span refers to width. right?)

Writing a book set in a fantasy world. currently writing about vikings (or nords if you've played skyrim). It's the main characters birthday and i need to list some things he gets for his birthday. so far i've got a bow and arrows, a sword, one of those viking bracelets. what else would be good gifts?

What is it called when a person is kinda groggy and then realizes something and becomes wide awake.

for example you're in your bed and get awoken and are ready to fall asleep again but then realise it's your birthday

My hard drive has 36gb. 2 of which is available. i can't delete any big items, because i've done all the tricks websites said to do (like Ccleaner). Not sure what to do now.

I'm going to denmark in 2 days, and i might buy a sword there.

What should i look for?

I don't really care if it's old or new, as long as it's a good sword.

or i might buy a viking helmet or something. same here. what do i look for?

I ve been trying to come up with something for a while now...

I like:

- gaming

- watching anime/movies/series,etc

- animals

- being creative (though names have always been my weak point, which is why i m here)

I will post:

- gameplay videos

- vlogs

- random sketches (more like the silly homemade kind. not ones with actors and a big budget)

I've decided to start a youtube channel. I know the type of video's i want to make and things like that, but i'm not really sure what to use for equipment.

I'm thinking of a decent camera (i think i still have one around the house) and i've got a guitar hero microphone, which is just a logitech usb microphone with a guitar hero logo on it).

Not really sure if that's good enough for starting (i'll get better stuff when i actually get subscribers).

As for editing software... i have no idea what to use. I don't want to spend a lot of money on it for now. just need some simple stuff. don't need to add special effects and stuff)

also do you know any good tutorials for how to record, because i have no idea about any of that stuff. plug the microphone and camera in my pc and just hit record?

i started a chatting conversation with a girl and asked her what she does for fun. few minutes later she replies by saying i'm incredibly handsome (win) but also said she likes drinking and going to clubs. normally a girl says her hobby's and i can keep the conversation going. but i have no idea hiw to reply to this. i'm a gamer myself and dont go out and dont drink so were basically complete opposites so i doubt this will work out. but i'd like to become less socially awkward so i want to ve able to respond at least

i currently have 4 gb ram and i want 8. and my grapgics card is a geforce gtx 460.

i'm kind of a noob when it comes to pc building so i need some help picking out the parts. i only use it for gaming, but i want it to be able to handle the witcher 3 and ultra modded skyrim (and modded elder scrolls 6 when it comes out)

I know how to start. and how to keep a conversation going like this:

so i know how to open the conversation, but not how to follow up. just saying hey i like your hair and then immediately asking about her hobbies sounds too random imo. Do you have any tips on what to follow up with?

I've just watched historys strongest deciple kenichi and i'm almost done with hajime no ippo.

i'm looking for an anime or show with proper martial arts in it (so no dbz or naruto and stuff like that). i want it to be purely about the martial arts. It also needs to be motivating. ippo and kenichi get me really motivated to do martial arts and work out. so i need something similar. i was thinking about a kung fu show next, but i don't really know one (except kung fu panda, but that's too much about the stories instead of martial arts

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a sword out of old coins (from all over the world). How do you think this would turn out? i was planning to just stack em and smack em (so i wont completely melt them). would this give a nice visual effect or do you think it would look horrible and be of bad quality?

I am making my own fantasy world and i am kind of torn between having an asian style continent (think kung fu panda and world of warcraft mists of pandaria) or not.

taking mists of pandaria for example, i love it, but it doesnt really feel fitting into the world of warcraft (even though blizzard did a really good job getting it to fit). on the other hand. akavir from the elder scrolls does seem fitting (though there isnt much gameplay/lore on that). i hadn't really thought about akavir yet to be honest and now that i do it does seem like a good idea :)

my world is more like lotr/a song of ice and fire/tamriel, etc.

i'm writing a fantasy book series and would like to do more research/get more inspiration for the use of magic. i've watched the anime fairy tail and i've (obviously) watched/read harry potter. what other shows/books/games do you recommend? i'm thinking about the show merlin

i am making a fantasy world and it will have 3 continents. one will be your standard humans, elves, dwarves continent. one will be a continent of orcs. and the third continent will be an asian continent.

the problem is i dont know which races to put there. i've done all the standard races in the other continents (and small variations for the different regions). i was thinking about doing anthropomorphic animals and have them correspond with the animals in actual asian myth. so a tiger like race (sort of like khajiit in the elder scrolls) for the west (in china the white tiger is the symbol for the west), a bird race in the south (phoenix), etc.

How does this sound to you? my concerns with this are that it seems out of place since the other races of the world aren't anthropomorphic animals. and i also fear that i might copy it too much from things like mists of pandaria or kung fu panda.

another idea would be to come up with totally new races, but the problem with that is that those races might turn out badly (in the same way most races people come up with are kind of lame)
