My Ruby Version's (Pokemon) internal battery died. I replaced the battery with another one, however, it is not a CR1616 Lithium battery, it is a CR2032 lithium battery. They are both 3 volts so I figured it was okay. The game works fine and the battery replacement is fine too. I can turn the Gameboy on and start playing without getting that annoying message that my internal batter has died; however, it appears that clock-based events still do not occur.

Any suggestions?
