  • Is there a list of non-instance quest rewards for the beginning zones in Wraith of the Lich King (WoW)?

Just want a list of quest rewards so when I go back and forth to Borean Tundra and Howling Fjord I am not picking something that I will almost immediately replace with another quest reward, finding out that, say, picking a trinket would have been better than the staff that gets replaced with the very next quest.

All the loot lists I've seen so far are incomplete or obsessed with raids/instances, and I am not interested in raids or rep grinding or even most instances.

    Thanks!

  • Looking for origins of non-dictionary definitions of the word atheist.?

Someone close to me told me that atheist did not mean only no belief in a god. I showed them the dictionary meaning and they still denied it. I was flabbergasted. This person, although having gone to catholic school, is not religious and is usually level headed on these kinds of things. They also could not tell me exactly it was supposed to mean.

It made me wonder where, specifically, the non-dictionary versions are coming from. And what exactly the "other" definitions really are.

I know there is the bad aura around the word, I know it generally comes from people of religion, usually christian, but I'd like to pin it down. Ex, Rev John Smith of Stone, NC Catholic church. Verse 2, Genesis. (Although I never saw the word atheist in the bible)

This is not a discussion of religion, or what other things are attributed to non believers. I am only trying to obtain the other definitions of a word, and the origins of those definitions. Sorry, but opinions don't count here.

    Thank you.

  • How to seal an old concrete pond and what with?

Porbably 80 yr old pond, came with house. Has a crack, not too far down, think I can seal with hydrolic, waterproof patch compound. Want to seal pond with something that isn't harmful, in case I want to add fish later or if neighborhood animals sneak in and drink. Pipe to resevoir (has a waterfall) comes out near the bottom, so a liner would need to be punctured there. Also because of the wall at the waterfall, and at the bridge (all one piece with the pond) there would be no where for the liner to go, ie just stick up in those 3 areas, so I think the liner would probably be a bad idea. Any products mentioned in searches, I can't find, or are $100 or more.

Seen acrylic concrete sealers, doesnt say if ok for ponds though. Also one search doesn't work well. Have HD and Lowes nearby, but no one there knows.

Pond: 14 ft long kidney shaped, 1.5 ft deep, 1.5 ft wide up to waterfall area, then expands to 2 1/4 ft deep and 4 feet wide. Approx 350 gallons.

    Thanks!

  • Asbestos. How bad is having already ripped up a vinyl floor with an asbestos paper lining?

I already know there is asbestos outside, and therefore in your lungs everytime you breathe.

I know it only takes one fiber to have a problem with it.

I know higher exposure = higher chance, but this is where it gets murky. I cannot find the numbers.

I don't know how much is outside. One abatement guy said he'd rather be in a contaminated area removing asbestos pipe insulation rather than on the street during rush hour.

In that case I'd think I shouldn't be having the absolute panic attack I'm having about ripping up a few pieces of paper (tested 20% asbestos).

However, everything else I've read suggests I will now die. Or will if I stay in my house.

I can't find info for AFTER you have done it. People remodeled all the time, does that mean all older houses have this level of asbestos in it?

My BF deals with guys who use it in thier jobs, they think it's no big deal. Ergo, his opinion.

The lab said I need to worry more about disposal, then said I'd die in 40 years.

    I'm confused.
