Anyone notice Darwin people have a slightly different accent to the rest of Australia?
I watched a few clips of Darwin news and notice they sound a bit different. Does this have anything to do with their proximity to Indonesia where they speak Bahasa Indonesia there? Please comment mait?

We are Buddhist but sent our children to a Catholic high school. My son wants to adopt Catholicism as his religion and votes conservative/developed conservative views (we are quite liberal). Is this common and is the latter from attending the school?
