  • What is Obama is successful...?

Just imagine, for a second, that Obama's policies work and in 3 years the economy is actually in an upswing and doing better than it would have without him being in office, we are safer from terrorism, and everything turns out okay.

Would Fox News give him credit?

  • Why can't America look at the economy like running a business?

From both liberals and conservatives, democrats and republicans, the major issues proposed to "save the economy" consists of either tax breaks, cutting spending, raising taxes, etc.

Why can't we just seriously consider looking for more revenue streams instead. The country now is acting like a corporation that is failing. Such a corporation would try to cut spending, gain marginal revenue from raising prices on the items it sells (like raising taxes), and similar methods that don't really equate to success.

In reality, we should be looking at new markets and potential revenue streams to make more money than we ever could by cutting spending or raising taxes. Is that not a better solution?

  • Why is Rice blamed for "lying" that the Benghazi attack resulted from the video...?

When the incident first occurred, multiple sources from around the world (BBC, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, Al Manar..) credited the attack on Benghazi as the result of an escalated protest over the "Innocence of Muslims" video BEFORE any U.S. news source or public official did.

So, as I'm watching Fox News, why is it that Rice (and, by extension, the Obama administration) is solely being blamed for "misleading" the American public by saying the attack stemmed from the video when sources worldwide were saying the same thing? And I reiterate, foreign sources mentioned the "Innocence of Muslims" video as the cause BEFORE the United States did.

  • How is "questionable age" determined?

And what exactly does it mean (legally?). The obvious answer to this is "when you don't know the age of the individual"

Doing research, I haven't really been able to find anything. I'm asking this in terms of message boards/tube sites that post [sexual] media of people who are obviously not prepubescent, but don't specifically state that they are 18 years or older. Also, this appears to be subjective...meaning it may vary on a case-by-case basis and thus be misinterpreted.

I am doing a research paper on laws that can be exploited/abused due to social mores and taboos, and appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

  • Is black or white a color or not?

I can't tell if black is a color because there are two very different ways to look at it. There is the artist way, then there's the scientist/physicist way of looking at it.

    Which one is true though?

  • How do you "backtrack" an image posted on a message board?

If a facebook image is posted on an anonymous message board, is there a way someone can track the original source of that image? How would this be done?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Kevin Costner's oil-separating centrifuge is really working?

Just read that Kevin Costner has helped provide a device to aid in the oil spill. Is this a pretty groundbreaking breakthrough?

Furthermore, how did Kevin Costner figure this out before BP, the Democrats, or the Republicans?

  • Is it wrong to be attracted to hot women?

So I hear girls say "You should just like her for who she is" and stuff like that, but regardless...is it wrong if you're attracted to hot women? And if your girlfriend puts on weight or something, why is it considered superficial if you want her to lose the weight?

I mean, you can't help what you're attracted to? It seems like you're a horrible person for being attracted to superficial features. What do you think?

  • Academics and Success in Life?

Do you find it interesting that many of today's millionaires and billionaires dropped out of higher education or high school, yet make more money than others who pursue graduate degrees?

  • Why do most video game movies suck?

I'm not alone when I say it's pretty annoying that a video game with amazing character/plot development, intense and deep action/drama, and music scores is never translated to the big screen with due justice. Resident Evil is at the top of my mind right now.

So what gives? Why is it so hard to do this? ...especially when you consider that because there is a good market (the gamers), you already have people who will praise the movie (and spread the word) if it's done well.

  • Question about Marcus from Terminator Salvation?

So, if Marcus was considered "Active" by Skynet (indicated when he was identified by that huge Terminator toward the end of the movie, as he was sneaking back into the base), why were other Terminators shooting at him throughout the movie?

Wouldn't Skynet be able to identify one of their own? They sure did when he came back base at the end.
