After stumbling upon this one day I was immediately addicted! My favorite answers are the ones that end up helping someone out of a tough time. Getting an email that says "thank you for giving me the strength to go another day" is a great feeling. Of course I answer computer questions too, but those are easy ;)

  • How do you add a HeartGold friend code to White Pokemon?

We went through the steps but it says invalid code. Both are DSs and we're looking at the codes so we know we're putting them in right.

  • Why have I gained weight since I started exercising?

I know most will try to tell me that muscle weighs more than fat so I'm probably just gaining more muscle. Well, I'd agree if I weren't doing only cardio and I wasn't 5'9", 245lbs. I eat like crap, but I still maintain my weight. I've been 245 for years and I eat like hell. I have changed my eating habits to where I eat more during the day, I just eat good-for-me foods that are low in fat, calories, sugar and sodium and high in vitamins and minerals. The only bad food I eat is at dinner (which I make sure happens at least 3 hours before bedtime) and maybe lunch every once and a while when I take in leftovers. I always stay within my fat & calorie guidelines though. I do 30mins of cardio every M, W & F (or at least 3 times a week) using an elliptical but so far I've gained weight. (When I started exercising I was at 238 because stress stole my appetite for a few weeks.) The weight seems to be holding too.

  • I'm trying to find a quote saying something about God not living in a church or under a rock but in hearts.?

I can't think of it now and it may or may not be from the bible. It's something to the effect of: "God lives not in a house built by man or under a rock or *something something* but dwells in the heart of man." I could be off by a lot but that's the idea.

  • What would happen if the banks in trouble were ordered to forgive all sub-prime mortgage debt?

I know this is a dumb question and isn't even a realistic fantasy but I was just curious. Most of that money isn't even real, in the sense that it didn't come from the Federal Reserve in physical form...or did it? I just wanted someone to break down exactly who these banks owe money to, what (if any) ties these "digital" mortgages have to "real" Federal Reserve money, etc, etc. I want gruesome details because I really want to understand the whole situation. What would happen (economically) if they were told "sorry, you got yourself into this. You shouldn't have lent the money out so now you lose it" and all these people now own all their houses and the bank is responsible for the debt since they couldn't hold their company together. Like I said, I know it's dumb, but it would help me understand the process better if that question were answered in full detail.

  • I am looking for the *exact* return receipt verbiage when the sender's domain is blocked by destination domain

Let's say Joe (joe@igotyournumber.com) sends Susie (susie@theheckyoudo.net) an email, but theheckyoudo.net specifically has the igotyournumber.com domain blocked and therefore no one at that domain may send email to the theheckyoudo.net domain. When Joe does this, he should get a return error, most likely starting with "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients". The error is very specific and says exactly what is wrong.

I need the EXACT error message. So far, my googling skills have failed me.

  • Who's great idea was RAZOR BURN and how the heck do I prevent it?

I've read up and everything points to making sure your razor is sharp, using appropriate shaving cream and making sure to pull your skin taut while you're shaving. These things I have done and still I get INSANE razor burn (in all the wrong places if you know what I mean) that even wakes me up at night.

I've used the bikini zone creams, the gels, the lotions and still, no matter whether I go with or against the grain, I get horrible razor burn. It just gets worse if I continue to shave. (Someone suggested sticking with it and it will get better.) It didn't. I lasted a month before I threw in the towel (no pun intended.) *puppy face* Help.
