I'm going to be moving in to a one bedroom apartment in July, and I have no idea how to decorate it, and I do NOT have an eye for interior design, so I was hoping some of you could help me out!

I'm going to be a first year dental student, so a desk is pretty much a must It's going to go in the area labeled dining room, but I'm not sure how to make a desk work with a bay window?

Pretty much any and all suggestions would be fantastic! Including painting/color schemes/etc.

I'm buying a birthday present for my sister online.

She lives at home right now, and I'm in college.

It asks for a shipping address and a billing address, I set the shipping address as my P.O. Box and I know I must put the billing address as the one associated with my debit card in order for the transaction to go through.

I really don't want my sister to find out about the present (it's something she's wanted for forever :) ) so will the store I'm buying from online send anything to my billing address?

I don't usually wear any makeup, lipgloss at the most - maybe mascara. I just thought that since it's a new year, I should try out something new!

I pretty much have NO clue when it comes to makeup so tips would be great! Any other tips on how I can look better would be great too :)

Does anyone know of any good (preferably free) software for recording a video (including audio) from a built in webcam? I've found a few but none of them include audio when you record. It'd be nice if it had different options for the file type too =]

I just need some brainstorming ideas for an English project.

We're supposed to tell a story in a "non-traditional" sense, meaning we can't just write a story, or present a story verbally to the class.

I was thinking about doing a photo slideshow set to music, but I'm not really sure...

I know using your cellphone while driving is dangerous, but why is it different from talking to one of your passengers?

Aren't you talking either way? I always hear the warnings against cellphone usage, but never against conversing with another person in the car.

Bored again, so why not retouch some photos?

I have photoshop (CS2)

So I can do almost anything including...changing your eye color or hair color, highlights, changing your face/body, and overall retouching.

So post a picture and tell me what you want me to do with it,

and if you want me to email the picture to you, if not I'll just post the end result back up on this question. (So check back)

For best results...do NOT send me some itty-bitty picture that you can barely see. The bigger, the better. Also, do not take it at some weird funky angle with strange colors. Just a normal picture.

I was looking for a good predental school, and I intend to minor in musical performance, I've played violin for 12 years.

My current standings...

- Top 3% of my class (17/750)

- My latest SAT score - 2200

- Weighted GPA 4.625

- NJROTC - (PO3, not that that matters =P)

I think I'm pretty involved in school, I'm in most of the organizations that it offers.

I live in Texas, so I'm guaranteed acceptance into any public university here, since I'm in the top 10%.

My parents want me to stay in state, since it's far cheaper, but I haven't found any schools that have evertyhing I want...but maybe I may just be overlooking something.

I dont think I'm qualified enough for an Ivy, so I'm open to all options =)

Do dogs, cats, birds, or any other creature use only a small percentage of their brain power? If humans are the only ones, why?

I've been having this problem lately:

When I click on something to download, it doesn't pop up with the box that normally allows me to choose the location of where I want it to go, on the bottom bar of my internet browser, it says it's downloading , then pops up with it in temp. internet files. Is there a way that I can go back to how it was before?
