My daughter is taking her drivers road test in NJ. I have a van with a parking brake near the drivers seat but accessible for the instructor to grab. Will we be able to use a Mini Van to take this test as long as it has the parking brake in the middle even thought it may be near the drivers seat. - Thanks

My am in the middle of purchasing my first home. The home as been determined to be in flood zone A. The national flood insurance required is 1700 dollars a year. I have considered looking into an Elevation Cert. My home sits up high on a slop it is much higher then most of the homes. I wondered if it's even worth spending the $225. and having it surveyed if it's not going to really save me any money on my premium. Also it has a basement does that by any chance rule an elevation cert helping out?

Recently a family member has committed murder suicide. It was in recent weeks and I looking for counseling and therapy on this matter and also help with the bereavement process. I have not been able to find any help from agencies. I have good days and I have terrible days. I blame myself even tho I had no control of the matter and did not catch onto anything. The person did change in the recent past years but I had not idea they were going thru so much internal pain. I blame myself for not pushing it out of them. I know this person went to 3 different ministers and I have talked with them. They all say they knew what this person was going thru and in then they could not help this person. This person left a 15 page letter of their life to family members and details of how to distribute and sell belonging to them. I feel I am blessed because I do have this persons last thoughts and they were very loving thoughts. This person took the other due to not wanting the other to be alone and to deal with all that was coming. I understand this persons thinking but I am still angry at them for taking the other away from me, but I understand that the other would have died of loneliness and heartache. I am drowning in self pity, anger toward myself, and regret. The pain is overwhelming. If you do not have anything to add in a positive way please do not reply. I already have my own voices to contend with.

Are you Mothers having a nice Mother's Day today?

I had to replace my washer last year with a hand me down washer. Every so often my clothes come out of the washer with lint on the clothing. Most of the time I do check the pockets for paper or tissues or whatever may be left behind. Even then I still get lint on my clothes after I wash them. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out why this is happening in the washer. Does anyone else have that problem too? Any ideas of how to stop this from happening. I am my wits end.

PS - I can not afford a new washer so that is not an option.
