  • Want to wall mount TV? Sky box and cables problem?

Am going to wall mount a new TV above my fireplace but also have sky+ box and dvd which will not be underneath but on a small until to the side lower down? Am worried power cable and connections will be too short???

Have arranged for someone to come and do it so all cables are hidden but was just looking at how short things like scart cables are! Has any one done anything like this. I am not technological at all and finding it all a bit stressful!

  • I'm flying to Bournemouth?

But when I get there I need to get to Chichester? Can anyone tell me how long this would take to drive if I get picked up or how easy (and long) it takes by public transport? I will have a 7yr old with me so looking for the easiest option.

  • My friend is being a f***y since we we had a night out ! And I don't know why!?

about a week and a half a go i had a night out with some friends. As usual we all had a bit too much to drink and got into a very heated discussion. The night ended fine and I thought no more about it. After a day or so I realised that the friend i'd argued with was not speaking to me much (childish I know but I don't know how else to explain it!) She will reply to texts and occasional skype messages but we used to spend hours chatting everyday after work and instant message or text for ages most nights. All of this has stopped.

We work together so I have just been acting totally normally because I don't want there to be an atmosphere or to be unprofessional.

This has happened in the past and when I confronted her she said she had been mortified by her behaviour and we sorted it out but to be honest I am so fed up of the drama and huffiness. It is like being back in high school (she is 31!)

I asked other friends who were there if anything happened that i missed or can't remember which would explain if she was angry or something. She is being this way with almost everyone not just me but we were defo the closest friends.

I don't want to lose her friendship but I am fed up being the one always having to sort things out. She is a different person when she has a drink and I have told her this in the past but she does this all the time.

What do you think I should do? Just carry on as normal as possible and see if she comes round, ignore her, confront her, or anything else? I would really appreciate help cos I don't know what to do for the best in the long term.

    Thanks

  • Do you agree with Jade Goody selling her story?

A lot of people I know seem to have varied opinions. What do you think?

  • Thinking of applying for a job that is a bit above me - do you think it is worth a shot?!?

I have some of the experience but am sure there will be more experienced folk than me. Think it might be worth a bash but don't want to hinder opportunities in the future if my name is associated with trying my luck!
