  • Bone erupted through gum?

I had a surgical extraction (left lower back molar) 3 weeks ago i'm in the process of getting my teeth pulled for dentures due to decay. A couple of days ago i noticed on the inner part of the gum under my tongue there is bone protruding out. Its very sensitive and painful. I am going to try to get into the dentist tomorrow but I'm wondering what he can do to fix this???? Will he have to make another incision shave some of the bone down and then restitch??? Just curious of what I might have to deal with tomorrow....

  • Face Wash For Autistic Son?

he's getting to that age where he needs some anti acne face wash, but I'm faced with the glitches of autism. It can't burn, have an offensive odor, or have a cooling sensation...I'm not sure how he would react to that. I know he has some defensiveness against smells, i don't want to hurt him if it burns and I'm not sure he will like a cooling feeling....so i turn to you my YA friends.....got any ideas of a product i can try??? Oh by the way he will be 13 in December...so yep puberty is coming!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOOOO SCARY!!!!!

  • Removing grass stains from teeth??? (autistic son)?

my son has taken to eating grass, he is 12 years old with Autism, Mental Retardation, OCD, and bi-polar. The docs have said it won't hurt him because he eats mainly clovers which I've researched and found that some people pick them in early spring for salads and indians used them for medicinal purposes. I've researched all that, but what I can't find is how to remove the grass stain from his front tooth!!! LOL...i know it sounds crazy, but life with autism can be!!! He has alot of tactile defensiveness, and i'm worried if I use baking soda or peroxide that he will freak out and never let me brush his teeth again!!! I've used my toothpaste that has both in it and it didn't do much just lightened it a little. The dentist is able to get it off, but #1 I can't run to the dentist every time this happens and #2 he hates the dentist, its a major ordeal. I know this is a strange question and I appreciate any suggestions!!!!!!!

  • Harry Potter Books alternative???????

I am not really a reader, but I love the Harry Potter movies and decided to read the series. I loved them!!!!! I am sad that I am finished with them. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what books I might like that are similiar. I have always had a reading comprehension problem ( i can read a page, get up and go get a drink, and come back and forget what I read) but this was not the case with the Harry Potter series. Any help would be much appreciated. I am bored now with nothing to read. I started reading the Da Vinci Code last night, I didn't grasp a whole lot, but I'm gonna try to finish it. Thanks all for any help!!!
