I have been trying to figure what this story was called from my childhood. It was a book my Nan gave me one year Christmas, and I remember loving the artwork as a kid, and would love to find out what it was.

The basic story was, there was an African/amazon/peru type tribe/community set in a jungle (I remember a lot of green in the book) there was a king/chief and his queen with 3 beautiful daughters. They had another daughter but she was paled skin and blonde hair and blue eyes. The rest of the story is about her being accepted in to the tribe and by her sisters.

That’s all I can remember of it, I remember I loved the beautiful artwork in the book.

I have an 11 year old house cat. I love him to bits, but he is easily very anxious, and really lacks confidence at times. We have tried to re-assure him time and time again, with clicker training, meds, more affection than you can through a shake a stick at. He is not very affectionate to others, just me. We have lived in a multi cat household before, with three other cats years ago, but we lost our jobs had to re-home them. Plus He found it stressful at times and had accidents.

4 years later, and we are stable in our jobs and have been for a while now. I rescued a cat with a co-worker last week, and I instantly fell in love. Such a laid back cat, calm and easy going. He is only 8mths old however. At the moment he is at the vets in case someone comes forward to claim him (no, he is not chipped) but if no one claims him in a week I can adopt if I wanted.

I would love to adopt him, but terrified how my current cat would take it. He is very anxious and sleeps ALOT, and meows at times for no reason. I figured it was because he was lonely, but when we took him to vets to get shots, they said it could be the start of Feline dementia.

I just don’t know what to do...my heart tells me to get the little guy, but I would hate to stress out my old cat to the point it makes him ill....i’m so torn....any insight?

I have been on the hunt for a free, simple, to use 3d model posing software program. I don't want to render any 3d models, but I want to have access to facility to pose a model in which ever pose for reference with anatomy or light source. That's all I want it for. no animations, or 3d art, just purely for reference! Useful when you can't find that stock image, or don't want to guess the light source!

Anyone got any recommendations?

I have four house cats, two female two male. All of them are neutered. We got a mother and son first, and a couple of years later we got a sister and brother. The first male cat started bullying the second Male cat we adopted. At first we assumed it "who is the boss" being established, but after a couple of years? I could understand it If both was dominant as each other, but the second male cat, he is so passive. He lays down when the other male is near him, ears black. He is so kind natured as well. It was obvious he was saying in his body language "OK your the boss don't hurt me!" but the first male cat doesn't seem to take notice, and just being a horrible bully to him. We have tried near enough everything to stop this... spray bottle, emotional detachment to show he hasn't got to fight for our attention, or going the other way, but it just doesn't seem to make a difference.

I admit the second cat is demanding where fuss is concerned, if you have one of the other cats on your lap, he will run up and meow loudly until the other cat gets that annoyed they run off.

But we do give all our cats equal amount of attention. We tell the second cat no, or distract him with something else and he quite content. but the bullying is getting out of control!

I was just feeding them, and the first male grabbed the second, I heard a thud, looked over and the second cat was sprawled out on its side like he has just been flipped.

I don't know what else to try, we have considered maybe splitting them up and putting one up for adoption, but it seemed that would make things worse, and I wouldn't know how to choose, considering it would stress the poor thing out.

I know I have too many cats, and have learnt not to make this mistake again. But right now I am just wanting to make things better for them all. Any ideas?

I am working full time in a office environment at the moment. I have been depressed for about 4 years, and managed with anidepressants. I am currently on fluoxetine.

Over the last couple of months I have got worse, having anxienty attacks, and thinking of self harming again. I cant cope with other people at work right now, and as a result I dont fit in at all anymore.

I feel like I need to take a break and give myself the time I honestly need to heal - but I cant loose my home. It went to court last year and kept our house by the skin of our teeth. So If I lost my job now, I would loose everything.

I am just wondering if anyone has been in a simular situation and how to did they solve it.

I was wondering if anyone can share some insight to my current situation.

I’m 30 and started a full time office job last April doing Data Entry. The job itself I enjoy, its just the people I work with.

I am a very timid person when I first meet new people, once I get to know people I open up. Then usually I a really bubbly person and usually cant shut up lol. (but in a nice way)

In my current job I am finding it really hard to get along with the people I work with, apart from two or three people, I get complete alienation from the office socially, in chats etc. Like for example, if they was showing a picture on their phone to everyone, I get completely by passed. Loads of things like that. Its like I am invisible and I want to scream… this has made even more timid, and going in to myself, and I now battle with paranoia so much what they are saying about me, which was made ten times worse when I was told about some of the things they say when I am not there.

I’m just so confused why this is happening, I have to tried to inject myself in chat, come across more friendly – I even started smoking again and playing face book games that I just fit in and have common ground with them, Now I given both of up thankfully. (I know, stupid and extreme) Everything I have tried has fallen flat in its face.

I know it’s an extreme example of succumbing to peer pressure, but I was at a loss what else to do. It’s so bitchy here too. Everyone always slag’s each other off when they aren’t there.

Where I am really timid, I cant confront anyone. I just take it like a mug.

Anyone encounter anything similar? What did you do change your experience? I am looking for a new job, but this has made really low self confidence wise. Even more so then I was before, and I know the problem will follow me. I just never expected to carry on experiencing this at my age.. its like being at school.

I have been suffering from a chest infection since last Friday, and currently on antibiotics, I can feel the chest infection clearing itself up, but I am left constantly drained and tired. I am in bed a lot of the time, and have dry mouth. am I have a lot of bad headaches. I drink a lot of fluids, but I still have no appetite and haven't eaten a proper meal since this started.

Is there any way to help your body get your strength back? I am just getting worried about taking more time off work, and plus every one else in the office is catching it too, but recovering a whole lot better!

I am after a Free MMORPG or "Free to play" I am after something that must have decent character creation, and nice graphics. (not cartoony like fiesta) I tried Perfect world and enjoyed it for a long time, but I wanted to find something new. I was wondering what was your best experience of the Free MMORPGS out there and why?

I am looking for a RPG game for the PC, not MMORPG just single player. I like the character customization you get in MMORPGS like Perfect world. I was wondering if there anything like that available for normal RPGS. (besides The Sims lol) I was looking for something with decent graphics and storyline, and good friendly game play. Can anyone give a idea of a best product to use for adult acne when you have sensitive skin. If I use any of the mainstream branded products, it's too strong for my skin, it drys out, its goes really red and blisters. I can't even use Witch, Neutrogena, Oxy, Clean and Clear etc. Only product I can get away with is Clearasil for sensitive skin, I can wash my face without drying out, but I don't have a clear complexion, I still get blackheads and breakouts. Any ideas?

I don't smoke, I dont eat red meat, or alot of chocolate, or drink achohol. I eat quite alot of veg and fruit. I use Agnus Castus to help regulate my Hormones in case its realated.

Hi, I want to learn to play the electric guitar, but I have never played a guitar before, and not really any other instrument besides the piano or keyboard. I don't want to jump in and end up doing it wrong, so I wanted to know whats the best type of guitar to start with? Which is the best to start with as a beginner?

I am getting married in 3 weeks and I wanted to get my make up to sort out my look for day. I am on a tight budget, so the only brand of make up I could afford up to would be max factor etc. I was wondered what was the best make up? I need make up with staying power to last the day.

I got a porcelain crown on one of my front teeth after a accident from when I was a kid. Over the years, of tea, coffee etc has stained the tooth. I cant get it replaced at this time because I am currently having orthodontic treatment to straighten my teeth. The trouble is I am getting married next month, and I want to smile and not worry about this yellow tooth in the middle of my smile. Any ideas to whiten it? Thanks :)
