Cold Sweat

I was just goofing around on my guitar, messing with chord progressions and such, when I came across a neat little chord that I can't really get the name of. After seeing the tab for it, could someone tell me what the hell it is?

Standard Tuning, Capo 1st Fret.

G--0--

D--0--

A--2--

E--3--

I know it's some variation of a G major chord (Ab with the capo), but I'm not sure what kind. Is it a G13, or am I way off track?

Is Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast) by LostProphets considered to be in the key of C Lydian or G major? I know its the same key signature and that the sounds are pretty much the same. It's just a question that's always been bugging me. It's the low C power chord at the beginning of chorus that makes me think that the song, or at least the chorus, is in C Lydian. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's a random question that I just would like to know. I already have my answer; I just wanted to know what other people thought.

I was thinking of getting one, and therefore need to know if I have to buy anything with the pedal for me to use it. I don't have a stompbox or anything... just a guitar and 15 Watt amp.

All strings are played, with 1st (low E), 3rd, and 4th strings open, 2nd and 5th strings on 3rd fret, and 6th string (high E) on the second fret. I've been told on another site that it is a Csus#4, but I don't even think that exists. It sounds cool, I just want to know the name.

Did anyone else see that play that just happened? During the Eagles game, it's 3rd and 15 and the reciever catches aabout a 20 yard pass. He's about to be tackled and the ball just pops out of his hand and into someone else's. The guy who gets the ball breaks a tackle and runs like 55 yards for the TD. That has got to be one of the luckiest/freakiest plays I have ever seen. That type of thing can't be rehearsed or duplicated.

What is it, how can you tell, and why is it important?

I don't mean Olympic wrestling. I'm talking about the entertainment industry.

Also, who's the closer for the Dodgers, that Broxton dude, or Saito?
