Levaquin cost questions?
Is there a generic brand of the antibiotic Levaquin? I was on a different antibiotic for pneumonia, but it didn't work and now I am on Levaquin. The first antibiotic was about $8 dollars after my insurance, whereas the Levaquin set me back $66.86! They claimed there was no generic, just figured I would see if I was getting scammed. Luckily I need the freakin' medicine, or I would have left it there! Any info you have would be great. Thanks! :)
2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases1 decade agoCollection Agency refuses to send bill?
I recently applied for a loan (for the heck of it, assuming I wouldn't get one...) and I was denied. Not a huge deal. So they sent me a copy of my credit report, and I started making the calls to the various collection agencies so that I could repay my debts. I was simply calling to ask if they could resend a bill, so that I could see in writing what I owed and so I could have a copy for my records.
The first company said no problem, they would send it out to my current address. The second company told me that they did NOT send bills. They said they could give me the address, and that they could send me a receipt for my payment, and to put the account number on the check.
Personally, I'm not sure I am going to pay this. I mean, if they want their money, they should send me a bill so that I can repay them. I know who the bill is for (orthodontist), and how much it is. But what kind of company won't send a bill?? Has anyone been through this before? I am in shock that they wouldn't send one!
5 AnswersCredit1 decade agoDifferent Tier Cake Flavors?
My best friend is making my wedding cake, she is currently going to the Culinary Institute of America. I asked her about this, and she and i got into a slight argument about it, haha...
When making a three-tiered wedding cake, is it so odd to have different flavors for the layers? I like chocolate cake, and i understand white or yellow is better to go with for the guests...But my argument is just make the top tier a chocolate one. She says it's super non traditional and weird.
I tried to tell her other people do different flavored tiers and she says no one does. I haven't found a pic of one (if you do, let me know!), but i know i have seen it done before.
What's your opinion?
22 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWhat comes in Groups of 4?
I have three sisters, two older and one younger. We are trying to figure out a tattoo idea to show our bond. Personally, I think we should have something that only comes in 4's, but each is slightly different.
Examples:
North, South, East, West
Suits in a deck of cards.
Greek Elements (Water, Air, Fire, Earth)
While a four leaf clover also has four leaves, only my younger sister and I are any bit Irish (the two older sisters have a different father), and I already have one. I am just looking for more suggestions.
Thank you so much in advance!!! :)
5 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoPain in my hip Socket (?)?
I was walking out to my car last night after work, and I was A-OK. My driver side door lock only works from the inside, so I have to unlock my passenger door and lean in to unlock my driver side. I did so, and tweaked my hip somehow. I thought, "Hmm...that was odd."
When I went to walk to the other side of my car, I found I couldn't put a lot of weight on it. I then went to the grocery store, where I hobbled through the aisles, and then came home, took some Advil, and stayed more or less off my feet for the evening.
This morning I got up and it still hurts!! I can sit and rotate my hip in almost all directions, no pain. As I sit, no pain. If I get up and walk, it hurts.
Any ideas? It doesn't feel muscular, because I can move it around no problem. It's just to walk on it hurts.
Thanks in advance for any help!
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management1 decade agoMy Boyfriend says I'm weird...?
My boyfriend tells me I am weird and gross for this...and I was just wondering if any one else does this, or feels that it is strange.
I brush my teeth (and rinse with mouthwash) while I'm in the shower. I put my conditioner in my hair, brush my teeth and mouthwash, and then rinse the conditioner and get out. It's not like I'm wasting water, or anything else. And I store my toothbrush in the normal toothbrush holder, so it isn't sitting IN the shower...
Am I really that weird???
32 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoSick, due to vegetarianism?
A few days ago my boyfriend (who was a vegetarian for 7 years, then went back for a few) and i decided to try it again, simply for our health. I immediately got a cold, which sucks but i can handle. This morning at about 4:30 i woke up sweating bullets (even with the A/C), super dizzy and lightheaded, so i drank my glass of water that was next to the bed. Then i tried to go get another and i literally had to hold the walls because my legs felt like they were about to give out.
I tossed and turned until about 7 when i finally thought, "I'll try eating some oatmeal." I did that, and within 15 minutes i was back asleep, and when i woke up i felt much better. I still feel a bit off though.
My question is, could this be related to my body adjusting to the lack of meat in my diet? Or could i just have had a fever with the cold? I know i have to make sure to take vitamins to ensure im getting the nutrients i need, which (whoops) i didnt take. I WILL get better about it. :) Thanks!
15 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade agoBaker's Basics?

eggs
butter
vanilla extract
nutmeg
Yeast
I already have cinnamon, so that's good too. I was just wondering if im missing something (which i am afraid i am...). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

12 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoNative Vermont Snakes???
So, i was walking out of my work today when i saw the BIGGEST mutha-effin' snake ever!! like, 2.5 feet long. I tried googling and seeing what kinds of snakes live here, but i got nothing. So, if anyone knows the native VT species of snakes, I'd love to know. It was a light brown, with the typical snakey skin coloring...Honestly, it scared the bejeesus out of me, and i was just hoping it wasnt poinsonous, since it was right outside a children's facility, headed towards the play yard. Thanks!!

I am currently using Mirena (IUD) for birth control. I had it inserted in March, and i know in the first 3-6 months you may feel crampy, spot, yadda yadda. However, i am wondering about other's experiences. So if you used Mirena, you had a friend who did, whatever, Could you leave me your experience? Did you love it? Did you have cramping and spotting? Was it bad? I tend to feel like i cramp more on one side of my abdomen than the other, is that weird? Any info you want to leave is great, thanks!!

2 AnswersZoology1 decade agoDo you not like...?
Vermont? I searched for "vermont" in answers and came back with so many negative comments about the amazing place i live. Most of them were about Judge Cashman, but others said Vermonters are rude and they never saw a smile when they were here. Do people really think Vermonters are this horrible? I have always thought of our state as people's second homes, where they always felt comfortable and at ease. Am i really that wrong?
5 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoCar not starting??

I put dry gas in there too, and have been trying to jump it. Something is buzzing, i believe a relay, and im trying to find some help. Any info, especially from Corrado owners, is extremely appreciated!

I know there is no cure for eczema, however my boyfriend has it really badly this winter. He refuses to go to the doctor, i think because he doesnt trust them to actually help...long story. Anyway, are there any OTC remedies that will help with the itching, rash, etc? He just wants to take benadryl, and i keep saying to put some lotion or cortizone on it. Any all natural remedies would be great too, he's not the biggest fan of "medicine". Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
