Wolf R364G Burner/Griddle Ignitors?
Hi Folks,
Hopefully someone can help steer me in the right direction here, or may have even heard of this situation.
We just moved and as part of the move I decided to replace the oven ignitor on our wolf R364G. The oven had been taking progressively longer and longer to light, so it seemed like it was time for a change.
So I just replaced the oven ignitor, I then plugged the range into an electrical outlet to test it. No gas hookup, kick plate and bottom vent (actually the air intake) plate are still removed, oven burner cover still removed, etc.
So I turn the oven on and the ignitor (glow bar) fires right up, looks like it heats up very quickly, so I'm feeling good. Then I try the burners. Regardless of which burner I turn on, even if I turn the griddle on, the left rear and the front right burner ignitors start firing away.
It's weird, the burners/griddle were working fine before, not sure if something got broken during the move or if I've somehow broken something when replacing the oven ignitor... Fan works, oven light works, oven ignitor looks like it's working great now (at least the portion I've tested so far), but everything up top seems messed up.
I did try unhooking the oven ignitor, even tried swapping leads around (although that doesn't matter). I guess I'll have to try replacing the kick panel, intake grill, oven burner cover etc. to see if there's some pressure switch or something that's coming into play.
Sound familiar to anyone? Any thoughts?
Thanks!
