I have had four sons, and not one of them has skipped the behavior. Other parents likewise report this sort of "artistic" interpretation. He has access to markers, crayons, cat fur, all of which are far less unpleasant to clean off the furniture, the walls, or his hands. Why do they decide to do art with poo?

Had to stay home and watch the son while the wife was ill and came across the show "Bind the Jungle Girl". Nothing really to notice in it until I actually saw an obviously bluescreened Steve Irwin! Bindi was visibly and extremely awkward as she tried to "interact" with this Technozombie version of her departed dad. Then there was this dance number (WTF?) that just dropped in a clip of Steve Irwin with a tambourine.

I realize that he probably had pre-taped some segments for planned use in the show, but it strikes me at beyond creepy that his wife actually went ahead with using them, especially the scenes that required Bindi to pretend to interact with her now-dead father. Has anyone checked the length of Terry Irwin's canine teeth or noticed if she has an aversion to garlic?

I work with transgenic mice, and I was musing--idly--on a question of just how much of a mouse needs to remain a mouse for that mouse as a whole to likewise remain a mouse? Of course, this is a purely theoretical question, given the number of genes in a mouse genome.

Likewise, if the only parts of the transgene are the coding sequences but not the concomitant promoters and terminators, how do they count or not toward this question?

English was originally a pagan language--a tongue of pagans. Now, using the reasoning of people who say that we should celebrate no holidays because some pagan element or predecessor could be found for any of them, we MUST also conclude that Christians should never use the English language, since it is, at root and at heart, a pagan language.

Why have a legal cut-off time for abortion, even at birth? If it's okay to practice pre-natal infanticide, why would it not be equally acceptable to practice post-natal infanticide? It's really just an arbitrary line, after all.

Humans are apes. Specifically, we are PART OF the Hominoidea--the apes. Within the Hominoidea, we are PART OF the Hominidae (the "great apes"). Within the Hominidae, we are PART OF the Homo/Pan/Gorilla group. This is how REAL biologists classify us. HUMANS ARE APES, according to real biologists. Why, then, do so many self-styled defenders of evolutionary theory deny OVER AND OVER that we are apes. We are apes. We descended from common ancestors THAT WERE APES, the apes and old-world monkeys descended from a common ancestor that was not an ape, but WE ARE AND DESCENDED FROM APES! It's plain biology.

Why do people keep trying to defend evolution by insisting that this is not the case?

I keep seeing whines and rants from non-Catholics demanding communion from the Catholic church. Why do they do it? After all, do these non-Catholics believe that the Catholic church's communion is more efficacious than their own? Do they think that the Catholic church has more truth than their own? If not, why whine about not getting communion there?

I'm not in the Roman Catholic Church, myself. I'm just trying to figure out why people who reject the Catholic Church simultaneously demand sacraments from that selfsame Catholic Church.

How much "subsidy" is spent, total of all steps, on producing E85 per gallon? Likewise, does E85 get special tax exemptions? I'm trying to get a realistic idea of the actual dollar cost per gallon of E85 vs. plain "regular" gasoline.

Imagine the torture that some people would face if they knew that, throughout eternity, the "wrong kind" of people were given eternal bliss by God. Think of how the uncharitable and bigoted would suffer merely by knowing that the very people they hate the most are still beloved enough by God to be also given a place in paradise alongside the "right kind" of people.

If anything, more than any other, has driven people away from Christ and his message, it is the hatefulness, spitefulness, and utter lack of charity of the evangelical Christian sects. I have come to the conclusion that they are doing Satan's will upon the earth--driving people away from God by making God appear vile and making worship of God appear foolish and hateful.

Thus, I wonder, did Satan actively found this form of Christianity, or is he merely taking great advantage of it?

I have noticed this over and over, that parents of autistic children are constantly put off and obviously defensive when dealing with adults who have autism and are still able to be fully independent. Why is this the case?

For this cookie, the dough is wrapped around the Hershey's kiss and it is baked inside the cookie.
