  • can my room mate get mad at me and just throw me out of his house? and lock me out?

We used to date, but not anymore. He offered me a room in his house in exchange for housekeeping which I fulfilled my part of the bargain. He got jealous when I started to hang out with an old friend in my personal time, and so he locked me out of the house, took my cat, and won't let me have any of my things. He is retired and lives in El Cajon, CA. I have nowhere to go, and he has been violent with me in the past.

  • Why do Life Insurance companies gladly sign you up taking your money only to end up?

investigating you soley in order to deny your claim?

Instead, why don't they do their due diligence prior to signing you up, then you can rest in peace knowing it wasn't a waste of money for all those years? Isn't it a little bassackwards??

  • Were Patriots Fans in New England stands rude and disrespectful?

After the Patriots won the game today, and their GM got up and said "I want to congratulate the Chargers and Dean Spanos..." the fans in New England started to BOO! What a bunch of rude people. The Chargers were gracious and they played with dignity, unlike the Patriots player who purposely elbowed one of the Charger players and the referee was standing right there and acted like he didn't see it.

There are always bad sports, poor sports, and the like, but mostly when they lose, not when they win. Frankly, I think the Patriots Fans who booed the Chargers, are the real losers. That kind of behavior is uncalled for and shows their true colors.

Oh well, I'm sure the Chargers will come home to cheers regardless, and I for one will be there to support them. At least I won't have to wear an eskimo parka just to go outside. I don't think Patriots fans will ever find jackets warm enough to cure their coldhearted rude mean behavior. The Patriots fans at the game were real turds

  • Pit Bulls, why would you trust them around your kids?

"BARSTOW, Calif. - A pack of pit bulls surrounded a woman and mauled her to death, authorities said Wednesday.

Police found Kelly Caldwell, 45, lying in the street around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, and took her to a hospital, where she later died, the San Bernardino County sheriff's department said.

After the mauling, the dogs ran to a nearby house. Deputies shot one dog to death when it returned to the scene and acted aggressively as paramedics were trying to save Caldwell's life, authorities said.

A second dog was shot to death Wednesday morning when it, too, returned. Deputies said it became aggressive as an animal control officer tried to capture it.

Authorities said at least one dog belonged to a neighbor.

Investigators collected DNA samples from the dogs. An autopsy will be performed on Caldwell and necropsies on the dogs to determine which one attacked Caldwell, sheriff's Sgt. Richard Ells said."

Why does this happen? Bad owners...or just plain useless animals?

  • The Son of God is actually The SUN? That's who the ancient egyptians worshipped?

Modern day Judeo Christian religion was built on the ancient Egyptian practice of worshiping the the Sun. This happened 3,500 BC, and the story has changed as time has gone by. Astrology is where it all started. If you consider yourself educated, then watch this, and then come back with your argument for or against. http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

  • What would religion be like if we had no body, if we were all simply a spirit with no physical sensations?

Wouldn't religion, hunger, war, sex, crimes of every kind just disappear? Void of emotion, what if the only concern we had was to learn?

That's what happens when we die, all the stuff we fight over or commit crimes to take, are all directly related to the physical human body. Take the body out of the equation....now what??? Could this solve a lot of our religious dilemma's? When we die, is the only difference that we cannot astrally travel back into our bodies? Could this be the answer? The one thing that we need to care about is our spirit......because it will remain after our bodies are long gone. I take solace in this.....it seems to make sense to me, what about you?

  • Out of all the people you've known in your life, how many did?

you personally know or love that were killed on 9-11?? How do you feel about extremist groups who do these kinds of things? Should the US be wary and take precautions against this happening again?

  • holyflushed asked a stupid question?

Are the people who jumped to their deaths on 9/11 from the twin towers in hell for committing suicide?

FYI~ when humans encounter intense heat such as that day, they instinctively do whatever it takes to get away from the heat, once it started to burn their skin, they did the only thing they could do, and that was jump.

I can't believe you holy rollers who have the audacity to even suggest these poor victims would go to hell for "jumping" out of the Towers. Where was your so called "God" that day?? Hmmmm??? You thumpers all claim he exists, but no one has ever seen him, I would think if "Jesus Saves" that would have been the best opportunity to show himself, but he didn't. Why?? Because he does not exist. Face it!

  • I am a responsible grandmother who is happily married, all my own kids are grown. Can I get temporary custody?

of my 15 year old niece who is currently in another foster home along with her two other sisters? I am her mother’s identical twin sister, or Aunt, and the foster mother doesn’t like my neice, so she complains about her to the social workers so that they will remove her from the home. However, by doing so, they will be tearing her away from her sisters whom she loves very much. She is a good kid, a victim of abuse at the hands of grandparents, and I want to intervene before this really messes the poor kid up. Any suggestions?

  • In a domestic violence situation, why does CPS take your children if you are a woman who has been abused? CPS

will say that you are not capable of defending yourself so how can you defend your children too? On the other hand, if you do fight back then you are thrown in jail for doestic violence and CPS still gets the kids....What is going on here?? Do I smell a crooked system? My sister was abused for years, when she finally came forward, they made her out to be the criminal, took her children, and never gave them back....why???? CPS is a tax run child thief organization who just need heads to count. I think we should abolish CPS and get our lost children back......

  • 911 - If you don't believe that there was ANY wrongdoing at all by our government, what do you base that on?

Truth seekers of 911 are asking us who understand critical thinking, to research on our own before blindly falling into line by simply accepting what the U.S. Government says about 911 just because we are Americans and must trust our government. Blind faith? Do they deserve it? If presented with two choices; the governments 911 Commission Report or the many Americans who have educated themselves and come armed with facts-- If you are truly a person who values critical thinking; then you would at least consider the possibility that the 911 Commission's report is not actually credible, but that means you would have to read it. Did you read it? Remember, not based on anything other than reading the 911 report, do you honestly think it's 100% accurate? Do you think there may be errors in it? Is it possible that our government made some huge errors that fateful day? After reading the 911 report, is it possible that the report is wrong? What's odds that it is 100% accurate?

  • 62% Of American's believe Bush's recent actions in Iraq, show he won't admit he's wrong, can we show him?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush's approval rating has fallen to 28 percent in a Newsweek Poll released on Saturday, an all-time low for Bush in that survey.

Nearly two out of three Americans -- 62 percent -- believe Bush's recent actions in Iraq show he is "stubborn and unwilling to admit his mistakes,"

Can the American people show him he's wrong? And how would we do this?

  • Where Do We Stand??? and what are you going to do to solve this problem?

Excerpt: Where Have All the Leaders Gone?

By Lee Iacocca with Catherine Whitney

    A Hell of a Mess.

So here's where we stand. We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving. We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the country. We're losing the manufacturing edge to Asia, while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs. Gas prices are skyrocketing, and nobody in power has a coherent energy policy. Our schools are in trouble. Our borders are like sieves. The middle class is being squeezed every which way. These are times that cry out for leadership.

But when you look around, you've got to ask: "Where have all the leaders gone?" Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, competence, and common sense? I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point.

So where are you????????? Lee Iacoca said it perfectly!

  • Spirituality is peaceful and religion is chaotic and angry, why?

The biblical soul is the one referred to in the story book called the Bible. The Bible is simply a book of different stories all put together into a book because the people who used to gather to hear the bairds tell these oral traditions thought they were going to be victims of genocide, so they put all the stories in a book called the Bible. Man put the pages together and bound the book together and quoted everything said in it. God didn't write it, so put it in perspective.

I believe we come back time and again to live here in the physical realm to learn a lesson. I will continue to come back as long as I have more lessons to learn. I write my life plan before I get here. Whether or not I follow it is really my own free will. Knowledge and love is what is really important. The ability to astrally project is a gift that has given me so many answers to the reasons for man and earth and spirit. I am a soul and my body is only the vessel which carries my soul through this life

  • Hey, would you like to wear my tin foil hat now?

With all the scandals in the White House, does anyone think there may just be something to what the news has been showing us about crooked politics? What will it take for people to see what's really going on? That our rights are being stripped away by our government?
