  • If you need Christ to be saved...?

    What happens to people that don't hear about him before they die? I'm speaking of the mentally handicapped that can't comprehend, babies and children, people in remote places, or anyone else that truly hasn't ever heard of Jesus.

    Would a loving God send them to burn in torment for all eternity because of that? Is there an exception to the rule?

    Someone said it's impossible to not hear about Jesus. That simply can't be true. Think about children that die in countries where the main religion isn't Christianity.

    What is the answer?

  • Do Christians need to have a literal water baptism to get to heaven?

    Can you please show scripture to back up your beliefs. I'm trying to understand the concept of being "saved". It sounds like If you accept Christ as your savior, you need nothing else. Is that right?

    I'm exploring all ideas and beliefs.
