I received a personal response to one of my posts, so now I'd like to pose a question to you:

Does the Bible teach that it's perfectly okay to murder innocent children as a means of "simply defending yourself"?

Please, if you can, quote Jesus directly and provide scriptural support for your answer. My thanks in advance for your consideration.

We all have things that have caused us great sorrow... the loss of a loved one, hardship, lifelong unfortunate circumstances, disability.

Why is it you look forward to the new system? I'll enjoy reading legitimate answers from true Jehovah's Witnesses!

I don't recall Jesus having a band of musicians with him to spread the good news of God's kingdom... doesn't having live music at a worship service turn it into entertainment (2 Tim. 4:3) rather than a healthy, sincere attempt at spiritual training? Or does learning what the Bible really teaches even matter to you when you go to church, just so long as you can get your Starbucks and bagels while tapping your foot to "My God is an Awesome God"?
