I have a baby bamboo plant which looks like this ( http://cdn.givingplants.com/media/catalog/product/... ) and I don't know how to take care of it.

Shopkeeper told me that I am suppose to keep it indoors and change water in the pot every week.

My query is that how much sunlight it needs and how often should I change water in the pot. Also suggest me other ways to take care of it.

I was studying about Data Base management system and I came across these confusing topics. They are :-

Actually i want to know the difference between both. Anyways, I understand what a Database management system is but cannot understand Database approach.

I also want to add that in my last DBMS exam there were two questions ?

1. What are the components of a Database System?

2. What are the components of a Database management system environment?

Aren't both the same thing? What is the difference ?

What did you do when you Astral Projected last time?

First of all , Don't get angry on me just because of this question . I know Zazen or any other seated Buddhist meditations are never pointless but I have to get my doubts cleared right ?

I recently got very much attracted to Zazen / Buddhist Seated Meditation and even started practicing it. I love it coz it made me calm and happy but I have no Idea why people say that you can get enlightenment by doing Meditation and reap few benefits like : -

1) You can understand the truth about universe.

2) You can understand your purpose in life.

3) You can achieve your real mind and destroy your illusory mind etc.

My question is , what does knowing about the universe means and how come one understand the universe and his purpose in life just by sitting in Zazen and doing nothing .

Please clear my doubt.

Hello people , I recently got very much attracted to Zazen Seated Meditation and I of course love to do it because I myself am enjoying few benefits of this meditation(like my concentration and confidence improved) but I have this doubt in my mind.

I had read many facts about Zazen like getting enlightment , get to use your real mind and over come Illusory mind , I also understood that Zazen is to know about Obvious things for example - when It rains it rains , it snows in winter and all that . I understood about all this except for one thing , It says that when you practice Buddhist Meditation or Zazen you can understand about the universe , why we exist and all that. How can one understand all this by doing meditation ? The meditator is just sitting in Zazen without doing anything . So how can some one know about the universe , know our purpose in life and How can someone achieve the real mind just by sitting in meditation.

I recently got very interested in Buddhist Meditation and started reading on it and even practicing it. I recently red an article from a very reputed website on Buddhism and Zazen Meditation (seated meditation) and it says that our mind where we hold all the knowledge is a hindrance to real mind. They said that when we practice Meditation we can achieve the real mind and clear out the illusory mind but at the end of the article they say something like this " The enlightened mind, or the real mind, cannot be discovered by anyone including the Buddha because it is absolute. If it is discovered it becomes an object of knowing, which falls in the relative field. The real mind knows itself and can be discovered only by itself." What does it mean.. Don't you think that it makes meditation pointless?

Please don't be angry at me . I know meditation is never pointless and it got many advantages and I am enjoying few benefits of meditation myself but please just explain me the last sentence. Why we cant achieve the real mind ?

We have a business partner for conducting vocational skills to the community people for 2 years period for which memorandum of understanding has been mutually signed.
