  • Do I have POTS?????????

For the past 5+ months, I've been having symptoms of Lightheadedness, dizziness, balance issues, fatigue, extreme head pressure, headaches, muscle weakness, occasional constipation, panic attacks, sweating, and probably a few more I'm not thinking of at the time.

I've read that POTS has a lot of these symptoms and your heart rate goes up 30 beats upon standing 1-5 mins. I've been monitoring my heart rate the last few days and normally mine actually does go up 22-37 beats just by standing. I've tested probably a good 30 times. Once it just went up 14. Once 20, but pretty much all the rest have been at least 22 with it being over 30 several times. Do you think I have POTS?

I was diagnosed with Menieres syndrome by an ENT who they sent me to after a previous cardiologist told me he didn't think it was my blood pressure or a heart problem. Could the Cardiologist and ENT both have been wrong.

Menieres shouldn't make your heart rate go up like that. Plus I've tried a low salt diet and it didn't help at all. It probably wouldn't be safe to take a water pill as I have a naturally low blood pressure. Usually top number is 90-110 while bottom number is 53-60.

So, Do you think I may have POTS?

Also my symptoms are ALWAYS worse when my head is in an upright position

Also I've had both a CT scan and an MRI with contrast that both came back normal, so it shouldn't be a brain tumor or anything in that regard.

  • Lots of weird symtoms the last couple of months please help!!?

Hello, the last few months (since late october) I've had numerous weird symptoms. I first noticed this when I was in class and was extremely tired as I didn't sleep much the night before. I almost fell asleep and jerked my head up really quick and when I did I felt like I was going to faint (like my sugar had dropped) I thought that is what it was so I found a piece of candy in my backpack and it didn't really seem to bother me the rest of that day. However, I kept and still keep having really werid symtoms. Basically everyday since then when I'm sitting down on a hard surface or sometimes not a hard surface at all I get tons of pressure in my head and I feel like I'm going to pass out or have a seizure or something I just feel really weird. At first I thought it was an ear infection and I went to the doctor and indeed had an ear infection, I took the antibiotics and seemed to do a little better but the symptoms came back and where worse. I went back to the doctor and she told me that my ears looked normal despite having just a little fluid in my right ear. So she gives me more antibiotics but it didn't help at all. I've also tried taking allergy relief pills and these haven't helped either. The symptoms started getting worse. I started getting tightness in my neck and shortness of breath. I had a bad spell at Walmart the other day where it felt as if the floor was moving up and down like I was on a boat. I also got really short of breath. I went to the doctor again and was sent to a cardiologist. The cardiologist did a few test and said I had a small leaky valve in my heart but other than that my heart and all the tests looked fine and my symptoms are most likely not a heart problem I also have had a CT scan of my brain and that checked out ok.

    Again here are the symptoms.

    Extreme head pressure

Feels like floor is moving up and down

    Faintness

    Dizziness

    Lightheadedness

    muscle tension

    shortness of breath

    burning sensation in feet.

These symptoms, especially with the head problems seem a lot worse when I'm sitting on a hard surface.

I've taken antibiotics for ear infection and my ears look ok now but the symptoms continue and are getting worse.

    What could this be?!?

    I am a 21 year old male.

  • History homework help, renaissance and reformation?

I could really use some help with these

How did technological advancements, stronger governments, and economic growth cause Europe to get involved with maritime expansion in the 1400s and 1500s? Why then?

What is Renaissance Humanism? In what ways did the renaissance break with the middle ages and in what ways did it owe it's existence to medieval civilization

What were the principal problems within the church which contributed to the Protestant reformation? Why was the church unable to suppress dissent as it had earlier?

What developments in society and technology had changed human outlook on the world? What effect did the rise of Humanism have on the Reformation?

    Thanks!

  • When did the Catholic Church start selling indulgences?

I have to do a research paper over the Thirty Years War and I basically have about all the research I need but I'm having trouble finding when the Catholic Church started selling indulgences. This is important because it is one of the main reasons the Protestant reformation started as well as the start of the Lutheran and Calvinist churches, which were all heavy contributors to starting the war. Thank You. If possible I would like to have a reliable source.

I am a Christian. I really like classical music like Beethoven and Mozart. I also like video game music from video games like Zelda and Mario. Is there anything wrong with that. I know some Christians are against ALL forms of music. However, I don't see anything wrong with classical or video game music.

Can I get some chemistry help?

Trying to work on some Chemistry homework and I just don't get it

Calculate the final temperature of 47 mL of ethanol initially at 11 °C upon absorption of 525 J of heat. (density of ethanol = 0.789 g/mL)

A block of aluminum with a volume of 98.2 cm3 absorbs 64.8 J of heat. If its initial temperature was 32.5 °C, what is its final temperature? (density of aluminum = 2.70 g/cm3)

How much heat in joules is required to heat a 40. g sample of aluminum from 72°F to 158°F?

If it's any significance (which I'm sure it is) The Specific Heat capacity of aluminum is 0.895
