Who else thinks Glen didn't die in the Walking Dead last night?
17 AnswersDrama6 years agoWhat's happened to the Duke of Edinburgh. We haven't seen him in public for quite some time.?
I know he's in his 90s but normally they trot him out on state occasions. Haven't seen any mention of him in the media at all. Do you think he's ill (dementia perhaps?) and they're hiding him away?
7 AnswersRoyalty6 years agoIs it immoral to think these things as long as you don't act on them?
Just wondering about people's perceptions of morality.
For instance, is it ok to fantasise about having sex with a child as long as you never act on that fantasy?
Is it ok to think about my boss suffering a lingering and painful death, possibly at my hands, as long as I don't actually go ahead and do it.
From my point of view, morals are about the way you treat people, in other words in your actions. Nobody can police what you think about.
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhat do Jehovah's Witnesses hope to achieve by turning up on people's doorsteps?
They were here this morning and I politely moved them on.
But I was just wondering why they do it.
Is it to spread the word? Is it to gain converts? What?
And how effective is it?
No disrespect meant, just interested.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoSo... what do people think of Windows 8.1?
Personally I hate it. I've lost count of the number of times it's thrown me out of the browser without warning while I was trying to publish this question.

21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoCan anyone recommend a motorcycle insurance company in the UK?
My son is 20 and trying to get reasonable quotes which don't cost more than the value of the bike is driving me nuts. I've tried all the comparison sites but what I want to know is which companies are worth bothering with.
I've been on some review websites and looked up the companies which come up with the cheapest quotes and a lot of the reviews call them rip off merchants and say not to touch them. I want to hear from someone who's actually had to make a claim and been satisfied with the service.
8 AnswersInsurance & Registration8 years agoHow can I stop this from happening every 5 minutes?
I'm on Windows 8 and using IE10.
Every 5 minutes or so I get asked if I want to Save or Open a file called log.js from rma-api.gravity.com. I don't want to do either so I always click Cancel. But I keep being prompted every 5 minutes, which is getting really annoying.
I understand from googling it that this is one of those things which runs in the background logging which sites I'm going to etc. It's not that I have anything to hide. I just don't want it running on my PC.
I've already blocked 3rd party cookies. What else can I do to stop this?
1 AnswerSecurity8 years agoWhy do people assume that atheists hate God?
Several times today I've seen questions from Christians asking why atheists hate god. Do they not understand that being an atheist means you DO NOT BELIEVE that such a thing as a god exists. You can't hate something which doesn't exist right?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf the Pope is supposedly chosen by God, or at least by the cardinals inspired by god...?
... why did it take them so many votes to come to a decision?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDo you think the papacy should move with the times?
How about a black female gay pope next? What do you think?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf you could have anybody you liked for the next Pope?
... anybody at all. Who would you have?
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoHow is it possible to be tortured and burn in Hell forever?
... if you have no physical body in Hell. According to Christians, it's just your soul which goes on after death, although nobody has yet defined what a soul is.
We have images of people writhing in pits of fire, but surely you only feel a burning sensation if you have nerve endings to feel it with.
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs Christianity "only a theory"?
Or any religion for that matter.
We keep getting told by certain theists that evolution is "only a theory" as if that equates to a hunch or a guess.
So what about religion. As nobody has ever been able to prove the existence of a god, isn't relgion just a theory too?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoI'm using a recipe which calls for dried haricot and butter beans?
They have to be soaked overnight before cooking. Just wondering why this is.
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes8 years agoWhich is your favourite James Bond film and why?
I like Live and Let Die as it's quite unusual with all that voodoo stuff going on. But the later, more high tech films are better. My favourite of the later ones is Die Another Day.
4 AnswersMovies9 years agoWho's your favourite James Bond?
I grew up with Roger Moore as James Bond. It was always a family event whenever the next film was out we'd go and see it. But I have to say Pierce Brosnan is my favourite so far, and Daniel Craig is growing on me.
3 AnswersMovies9 years agoWho's looking forward to the next James Bond film?
I can't wait. Only 2 more weeks to go until Skyfall opens in the UK. I shall be first in the queue to see it.
