NEED potty training tips ASAP!?
My daughter is 27 months. I know she is ready to use the potty (she asks us to change her diaper). Well, we have been talking about it for a while with her and she has gone on the potty a couple times but it has suddenly (due to economic reasons...losing my job, worrying about how we are going to pay bills, etc), we can't afford diapers. I need to figure out a way to potty train her as quickly as possible. Thanks for any tips you can provide!!!

Can anyone help solve my problem uploading through my USB port? I think I need to change my security settings to allow me to do this, but I don't know how?
1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoHas anyone had this problem uploading pictures into a digital key chain?
I purchased a digital keychain to give to my dad for father's day. I'm trying to upload pictures but it keeps failing. I have a feeling it's something wrong with my computer, I have Vista and that seems to prevent anything from working right. Does anyone have any advice on how I fix this? It's a Sharper Image Digital Photo Keychain. There is an 800 number but noone ever answers?!?!?!? Thanks for any advice you can give.
1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoLooking for recipe ...details inside?
I looking for some good CHEAP recipes for dinners for my family, here are my requirements (Cheap is the key word, as we are totally broke right now) (I don't need links to recipe sites, I want tried and true recipes): - there are only three of us (actually 2 1/2)
- Vegetarian (and low in fat)
- No tofu, fake meat or anything too "weird" (my hubby won't touch the stuff)
- No mushrooms
- Something a 3-year-old wouldn't be too scared to try...
- No eggs
- The fewer the ingredients the better (cheap)
6 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade agoHow do you deter wasps?
I have a recurring wasp nest every year on my back deck. I don't want to buy any chemicals and I'd rather not kill the wasps, I just don't want them hanging out on my deck. Any suggestions? I heard citrus deters them?

I live in hick-ville in the Midwest (Iowa) and I swear I'm the only veg for 100 miles...does anyone else feel like this?

17 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoI have a wonderful two year old but I'm having a hard time...?
getting into the Christmas spirit. I want to be excited and silly with her but I just feel exhausted. This is the first year ever that I've felt like a scrooge. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how did they remedy it?
5 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoNeed to find a vegetarian substitute...?
I love my mom's old fashioned tuna noodle casserole, but I hate the tuna part. What would be a good substitute for tuna in a casserole recipe? My husband refuses to even try tofu, so it has to something else. Tuno is not sold anywhere near me (I live in the Iowa).
12 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade agoWhat psychological disorder is this?
A man in his middle 20's held a steady job for many years. Then, suddenly, after his wife gave birth to their first child he began jumping from job to job. He holds a job for a couple weeks or a few months but then quits, thinking he'll be happier somewhere else. He is very involved with his daughter but is unable to commit to an outside career. His interests and goals change every few weeks. Is this a normal occurance for new fathers? His daughter is nearly two, and this still continues.
Please share any insight you may have. Thanks!
7 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoNeed a good gift idea for daycare...?
My almost-2-year-old goes to large daycare center, there are two women in her "room." Last Christmas, in the baby room, I just gave the women candy and a pretty candy jar. What gift could I give (together, not separately)...I'm on a very tight budget.

31 AnswersParenting1 decade agoQuestion for vegans only please...?
I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for about eight years. I have tried to give up cheese on several occasions because I know it is very bad for me (not to mention the cow). I was wondering if it was easy for you or did you find it difficult as well?
14 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade agoThe incredible shrinking vegetarian...?
I know this sounds crazy but I just had my yearly physical this morning and I have shrunk 1/2 an inch (I'm only 5'1!). I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for eight years and I've recently been trying to cut down on my cheese/egg consumption. I'm only 26...has anyone else experienced this? Please don't make fun...
