Need a good gift idea for daycare...?
My almost-2-year-old goes to large daycare center, there are two women in her "room." Last Christmas, in the baby room, I just gave the women candy and a pretty candy jar. What gift could I give (together, not separately)...I'm on a very tight budget.

I think art from your child would be special. I have an almost 22 month old who has 4 different teachers at his daycare (2 morning/ 2 afternoon), I picked up some cute pepermint cocoa mixes in jars at Hallmark for each of them. For the kids in his class, I think I'm going to do a very small bag filled w/ candy, stickers, etc. I'll probably bake cookies for the other staff members there. Baked goods are always good b/c they know you put time into it and who doesn't love sweets (very inexpensive also).

The Dollar Tree has really nice glass ornaments. That's what I got my child care workers--there are ten of them. I know that's getting them a separate gift each, but it's something from your child to them individually, which is nice. Then, I'm also making cookies over the weekend to send. I send my gifts in the middle of the month so that the gifts are enjoyed and appreciated before all the other gifts start coming in.
Also---as an aside--I try to send the slice and bake cookies to the teachers about once a month just to be nice---it's cheap, they appreciate it and you can't be TOO nice to your child care providers!

i might say 15-20 is the max i might spend. consistent with possibility spend a splash extra on the instructor. How a pair of effective Christmas ornament? Or a lotion present set? in the adventure that your at a real loss present enjoying cards are super. in view that in maximum situations a super style of coaching kit and components come out of the daycare vendors pocket, a e book shop or furnish save present card may well be effective. And on the turn part of that how a pair of effective certificates for a facial or a rubdown, help her eliminate the rigidity of chasing the infants all week long. only attempt and remember, maximum each instructor has approximately one hundred diverse "#a million instructor" knick-knacks.

As a infant/toddler caregiver myself, I think something made by your daughter (handprint and note) or a picture of her would be very appropriate. Caregivers care a lot about their kids and it means a lot to have something like that. Also, things like lotions (since we all wash our hands a lot on a daily basis) and pampering items are great too.

Make them some fudge or cookies that they can share. Be sure to give them each a thank you note letting them know they are special to you and your child! That means alot. Just being told that you realize they are sharing the responsibility of raising your child with you and they are needed and appreciated!

What if you brought a big tray of cookies for all of them to share at work. You can put cookies and truffles on it that would be nice

get them a new toy for the classroom and write them each a short note of appreciation
