  • Out of State Taxes for Military?

Does anyone know if military is exempt from paying state income tax if they are stationed out of state? I'm a CA resident active duty service member who is stationed in FL. When I moved here they stopped taking CA state income tax from me (not that I'm complaining). My W4 still has me listed for CA for tax purposes. I've asked my pay section and they couldn't give me an answer. I really would like to know if I need to get if fixed so I don't owe it all at once.

  • Says she's hung up on her ex....or does she just not like me?

Met this girl on a dating site...we talked for a couple of months and we seemed perfect for each other. She just ended a 3 year marriage with her high school sweetheart a year ago. When we finally met she got distant and told me she felt she wasn't over her issues with her ex and that she was rushing into things. She said all she could offer me right now was friendship. Since then we text back and forth...not as frequently as when we were heading towards a relationship. Usually its me initiating. I really like her and think she is very special. Normally I would understand a person like her having a hard time letting go of love (another thing I like about her) except her timing made me question if it was really because of her issues with the ex or if she just didn't like me and was trying to be nice. If she doesn't like me I don't want to keep bothering her trying to be her friend. I'd like to be more some day...but right now I'm happy giving her time to heal. Should I continue being friends with her or am I just bothering her and embarassing myself?

  • How long does it take to get over a divorce?

Met this awesome girl on line. We got along so well and we seemed perfect for each other. She is such an amazing person and is a wonderful mother of 2 beautiful girls. After we met she realized she still had unresolved issues and feelings for her ex who cheated on her and is now about to have a baby with his new girl. She told me she needed to spend some time just doing herself for a while? She is such a special person and I really like her. Will she ever be over him and do I have any shot with her?

  • A girl I like isn't over her ex, what's my next move?

I met a girl on a dating website. We talked all the time for a couple of months and then finally met. After she got distant and finally told me she still had issues and feelings from her ex husband. They were high school sweethearts got married had a kid. When their daughter was born she caught him cheating After that he decided he needed time to "figure things out" so they split. In the 3 years since he had another kid with her (her youngest is only 7 months) and just had another kid with his new gf/fiance/whatever. She said that she felt like she was rushing things and wasn't past her feelings for him. I really like her and think she is such a special person but she says all she can offer me now is a friendship. In my experience being a caring friend to a girl is the best way to never have anything more with her....can anyone tell me if Its better to continue trying to keep up a friendship with her or just stop all communication? Thanks
