  • How do I make coffee bean beads?

I really want to make a necklace for my sister, and I've seen these coffee bean beads all over the internet. I was wondering how to make them particularly how to waterproof them to prevent them from bleeding onto clothes.

  • Calling all math teachers (again)?

I've already posted this once, but I accidentally deleted the question. I figured it would be useful to have the answers in case we forget the answers. so once again...

Determine the equation for X^3-X^2-21+1 to find the zero points for the polynomial and also the derivitive function.

Please explain the steps, as we already know the answer and mainly need help in figuring out how to get the answer. I appreciate the help.

If it helps the answer is x=3 and x=-7/3 and the derivative function is 3X^2-2X-21

  • Is it possible to remove acrylic paint from canvas without damaging the rest of the painting?

My husband is painting a picture for his parents for Christmas and has messed up a small part of the painting, He's tried painting over it, but can't get the right shade anymore. He's using acrylics. Is there a way to remove that small area of paint, without damaging the rest of the painting so that he can redo it?

  • I got a strange E-mail supposedly from yahoo want to know if it's real or not, how do I find out?

The E-mail stated that I need to confirm my account details i.e. Yahoo id, Password, Date Of Birth etc or my account would be deleted. I'm pretty sure it's bogus, but I wanted to know if anyone else has recieved such an e-mail, or if there's a way to find out if it's real or not.

Underneath the sender name it had "Yahoo! DomainKeys has confirmed that this message was sent by yahoo.com." Which is why I'm double checking it here.Help would be appreciated.

  • Too young to rent a car?

My Husband and I are planning on traveling to the US this winter for a 3 week vacation to visit my family. The only problem is that we need a car for our travels there and we are both 19, so most car rental agencies won't let us rent. If anyone knows a company that will rent to us or if you could suggest alternatives I would really appreciate it.

~only I would be driving because I have a US license.

~we'll most likely be arriving in Newark and then traveling to MI then returning to Newark.

    Please Help!

  • Going for a degree in a foreign country, need some financial advice.?

I'm planning on starting my studies this fall in Finland, and am living in the country as an au pair at the moment. To qualify for a residence permit for studies I must show that I have access to at least 6000€ ($8000 about) or have part of that and a job to supply the rest. With my current job and a bit of assistance from my parents I can manage to save about half of what I need, but I'm wondering the best way to go about getting the other half (I can't take another job until after june due to the restrictions on my current permit) I'm wondering if I should go with an international student loan or try to find an international scholarship. If anyone has any suggestions or reliable sites to check for loans I would really appreciate it. Thanks :)

  • My best friend and I are growing closer, I want to tell him that I wand more than friendship any ideas how to?

I was an exchange student when I met my best friend, and I fell in love with the country i was in. I'm now back in that country and I plan on living here permanently. Since I've returned my best friend and I talk almost everyday. When we're together we usually just chill at his house and we enjoy cuddling with each other. I know that he likes me, but I don't know to what extent and he knows that I'm attracted to him, but I don't know how to tell him that I want to be more than just friends. It's a bit harder than the normal "just tell him"because at the moment we're also on opposite sides of the country, because of my work, and he is going to the army soon. We've just gotten out of some not so great long distance relationships and are afraid to start something new, especially if it could hurt our friendship. I can't get him out of my head, even though a relationship at the moment is probably not a good idea. I'd really love some advice from a unbiased point of view. Help please!
