  • check engine light on a 2001 Prelude/ emisions codes O2 sensors...?

    I have a 01 'Lude with some emissions problems. I want to know how to clear the code safely and without the use of computer software. I know what's going on, and I can't afford a new catalytic converter and new O2 sensors, and my state inspection is expired. It's not like I don't make enough to fix it, I don't want to. It runs better and gets better fuel mileage. It's not like I'm some kid who has some riced up Honda, but I do have a modified car, so the right parts are hard to find and are pricey. I have a Peterbilt currently eating car repair money. A good set of consistent answers would appreciated. Thanks.

  • Complete list of Cummins ISX fault codes?

    I have a 2006 Pete 379 with a Cummins ISX 475 and it's showing a big list of codes. I can't find anything on the web that doesn't involve money coming out of my pocket to find out what the codes mean. If you have a complete list of these codes, or know where to get them for free, please send them to me. I have no intention of paying to find out what I have to pay to fix. Anybody who has gone through this should know how I feel. I am a mechanic, and I know how to fix it, but I don't know what to fix. Keep in mind... smarty-pants answers get you reported to yahoo and hopefully banned from answers. No Q&A, just what I'm asking for. Thanks.

  • Why does the FCC require an operators' license for 10 meter radios?

    Is this something special or is it just another case of the government enforcing an old and outdated law from 1934? I mean really, why do I need a license to use the " original instant messenger "? Let's face it... it is what it is. I see no reason for a license to say something like " Hey, Rabbit, got your ears on?... Yeah, go ahead... How'd that golf game go?... Got two birdies and an eagle... Right on!..." anyhow you see how it's going, like most radio conversations, or cell phone, or Nextel conversations go. Can anyone give me a GOOD answer?

  • Where can I find JDM '01 Prelude parts, aside from the junk being sold on ebay?

    I have a 2001 Honda Prelude and I can't find any of the JDM conversion parts to go from USDM Type SH to JDM SiR.

    All of the stuff on ebay is, mostly, crap.
