I'm a single woman and about moving to move to an apartment. If i'm living on first floor(i heard alot of horror story about living on first floor), would it be safer to live with a dog eventhough its a small dog? any safety tips? If i live upstairs would the dog running cause disturbance to the floor below?

i just came home and found a badminton shuttlecocks disassembled on the floor and 2 feathers missing. And my dog is licking her lips and went to her crate ( that what she always does when she does something wrong) I don't know what to do and its to late to correct her. please help. my vet is closed so i cant call.

My hamster's made a really loud shreiking noise and now it can't get up.

it's 3 am ion the moring when i first hear the shreiking noise, when i go and check, my hamster's not moving but breathng (she's laying on her side). I tried petting her after about a minute she tries to get up but can't and while she's trying to get up she makes noises like she's in pain. what happened to her? there's no vet open, its still 3.43 am. she was fine last night.

please help

I've noticed that my puppy's poop is black but not tarry. sometimes its dark brown, brown and black. There's no muccus or blood. it has normal consistency as a regular poo.. (i know this sounds disgusting.. but i'm just concerned) she's been acting fine, drinking and eating normally, still very active and responssive. I checked her vitals(temp, heart rate, cpt,etc) and its all normal. I didn't change any of her diet. is this normal? the vet is closed so i can't call. please help

HELP!!!!!I just caught my pup eating little pieces of my t shirt(3 piece).2 of the pieces combined is about the size of a nickle and the other 1 piece is about a dime. my pup is an 11 month old sheltie pup, female, spayed, about 18 lb.

should i make her vomit or will it pass?

What can i use instead of fondant in a dog cake that have a clean smooth look?

fondant is too sugary and i need something that has less sugar.

I usually use sugar free coating or yogurt /penut butter chip. Any suggestion?

so i ask about my puppy that ate a cooked chicken bone yesterday, and i was wondering ..

after how many days should i not worry anymore after my puppy ate the cooked chicken bone?

i've read online that bones will be digested completely in 2 weeks? is that true? because I read somewhere else that after 3 days that i should not be worry anymore. which one is right? I'm still really, really concerned.

my 10 month old female spayed sheltie puppy ate half of a cooked chicken leg bone last nights. she's about 16-17 lb, i checked her vitals (heart rate, respiratory rate, capilary refill time on her gum, her temperature) and all of these things are normal. I called the vet and they told me to give her pumpkin or squash and feed wet food and keep an eye on her but I am still concerned. I caught her chewing and grabed the half that was not eaten. I'm worried that the piece is sharp and could tear up her intestine. she had bowel movement afterwards and the stool looks normal and she had another bowel movement this morning and everything was fine too. Has this ever happend to your dog? I'm really worried and I feel soo guilty. I only left them on their room(which is puppy safe) to brush my teeth and my baby brother accidentally leave the door open and she went to the kitchen and found the chicken bone(i think m brother droped it, coz the trash can is closed)

they usually follow me around, but when my mom, brother, or anyone else hold a food, they will leave me and just sit by their side hoping to get food. what can i do so that they will stay with me no matter what? I'm the one who takes care of them (feed, train, groom,play, bring to vet, pay for vet, they even sleep in my room) my mom and my brothers only play with them occasionally, like maybe twice a week. if my mom or my brother don't have food, then they will just stay with me even if we're in the same room. what can i do?
